Aion used Fireball on the pillar, but the spell was just sucked by it, and nothing happened. He flew around it for a while, but he didn't find anything… he was wasting his ti like that. Aion had to check the interior, even if it was a trap. Besides, he couldn't waste ti since he didn't know how things were happening outside... ti could run differently there, after all.
Before anything, Aion made one of the items that he had in his inventory touch the dark pillar. Still, once he touched it, it imdiately sucked the random sword… Aion didn't even have ti to fight it back.
"Shit, I don't have ti for hesitation…" Aion thought. "In this kind of situation, I need to deal with the core of the spell, an item, or the spellcaster… fuck it."
Aion jumped in after he activated the Mana Shield. Fortunately, the spell worked, but Aion was pulled in. He wasn't attacked, but Aion soon saw himself in a dark world… After using a fireball to illuminate the area, Aion saw that there were so buildings and walls nearby, and they resembled the capital… but it was too dark.
"The air is stagnant, dusty, and putrid… just like where I found Arlana," Aion thought, and then he looked above and didn't see anything aside from darkness.
If the capital was below him, it was completely silent… Before heading there, he flew high in the sky until he saw sothing that resembled a tallic platform. It was flying around one kiloter away from ground level, and after looking around, Aion confird that it covered the whole area. The castle of the Milleris kingdom was thousands of kiloters away, and Aion knew that such a thing also existed there. Still, he found it weird that such a massive tallic structure could exist.
When Aion touched it in order to Identify the tal, he felt his mana being drained… it felt like the sa material as that armor. At least the effects were the sa.
"I can't feel much mana around… is this thing draining all the mana of the world?" Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Arlana didn't say anything like that…"
"I can still feel the mana in the environnt, but mana is sothing created when living beings exist," Arc said. "If there are close to no living beings around, the mana of the world doesn't grow, and I would say that this structure drains the mana of a lot of living beings."
Creating so pillars to sustain that would be a convenient way to do that since it would stay in contact with the ground and drain all the mana around. Aion couldn't see that since the entire world was completely taken by darkness, but he was certain of it.
"An anti-magic tal… I guess the power of my weapons to absorb these things won't be useful unless I make so parts break apart first," Aion thought. "The question is how to do that without alerting anyone or anything, without using mana, and without losing mana."
In the end, Aion decided to check the capital before anything. He had to check the situation with his father and if his siblings were around or not. All that silence was starting to annoy him…

Aion was still using the ninja class, and while it wasn't the best option for combat, at least he knew that he could move without being heard. Aion landed in the city, and he had a hard ti seeing anything without the fireball. He didn't have any other choice but to move like that since he didn't want to clearly reveal his position.
Silently, Aion headed to his old ho, but he couldn't help but frown since he couldn't feel any noise or presence… the enemies did that much to move the entire capital to the future, but even so, he acted fast enough to prevent them from doing too much…
"The buildings are completely fine, and so are the streets… this is really the capital from my ti, not the version from the future… What the hell is going on?" Aion furrowed his eyebrows.
"You should know… ti flies differently for those who can use ti magic," Arc said. "While you only took ten minutes to arrive act, the enemies must have a lot more ti. It is just like when you went to the past, and you returned at the exact mont you left."
"Still… what is their goal while leaving that pillar behind?" Aion asked while clenching his teeth.
"I don't know… Arlana didn't ntion how important the capital of the Zaera kingdom would beco, so the enemies must have decided to wipe it out," Arc said. "Why and how we can say… However, the fact that there are no signs of battles here bothers ."
That was true. Even if the enemies could use ti magic, they couldn't wipe out the entire population of the capital that easily…
Aion hurried to check his old ho, but he also didn't find anything there… all those questions and worries were starting to annoy the heck out of him.
"You are wasting your ti… co here already,"
"That voice… you son of a bitch," Aion bit his lips in anger until he started to bleed through his mouth.
Aion flew at his max speed toward the castle, and he broke the walls with his body alone until he landed in the throne room.
"Hey, I have been waiting," Vangel said while smiling.
