All of a sudden, Kala dashed at Aion. She could beco invisible, but that wasn't the skill that she relied on to rise in the ranks of the army. Aion could barely see her moving due to the class he had equipped. Still, thanks to the endurance of the guardian class, Aion could stand.
After running around Aion for a while, Kala jumped at his back, but then he used Shield Swing to fix his stance and stop her attack. Her two daggers were stopped by the shield, and she was pushed backward.
In the end, Aion pierced the ground with his sword and then held the shield with his left hand while he was touching the wound with his right. Thanks to that, he closed most of the wound. However, Aion will need a lot of mana to counter a poison that powerful, so he decides to expel it from his body to save so.
Kala could notice that Aion's expression was improving, and his hand was a bit dirty with a brown slimy liquid… it was surprising that he could do that so fast and by himself. Still, Kala could smirk in satisfaction…. She had heard of the boy who defeated the famous Horis when he was only ten. It was weird, considering his lineage, that he was such a good fighter, but in the end, he was the son of one of the heroes of that war…
In the end, Kala increased her speed, and then Aion truly lost sight of her while she was just running around. He knew that assassins had to be fast, but that was insane, even though she followed them during the whole escape duration and without revealing herself.
Aion changed his class to Spearman, and then he was able to see Kala's shadow moving around. When she tried to attack him from behind, he used a Quick Spear and turned around. She lowered her stance while she dodged the spear and then tried to stab Aion's legs, but then a Fireball exploded in her face.
While grunting in pain, Kala rolled to the ground and extinguished the flas. Since the class didn't have high magic power, the damage had minimal, even though the target groaned in pain. At the sa ti, Aion was feeling like crap since the effect of the poison got stronger.
"Shit, too little mana to use…" Aion thought and then changed back to the Guardian class.
Despite the unpleasant surprise, Kala got up without of scratches on her face… while the magic power was low, he didn't consider that the enemy would have that much resistance against magic. She probably knew a thing or two after studying it for several years.
"I forgot the last ti caused so trouble… you are quite fast, considering that you change your fighting style based on your weapon," Kala said.
She sure was calm, considering that she didn't cause any damage since the start of the fight. Aion wondered where that confidence ca from… In any case, Aion won't go anywhere if he keeps using the Guardian class. Kala was being cautious because of the big shield. Using the Spearman class was probably the best option… but he had to be faster.
"I guess I can last five minutes if I stop treating the wound and the poison now…" Aion thought while grabbing his spear and assuming an offensive stance. "I will finish this quickly."
Instead of waiting for the chance to counterattack, Aion dashed toward the enemy. When she saw the first thrust coming, Kala changed for a reverse grip and then used both daggers to block the strike. Her reaction speed was truly phenonal… while Aion's blow was supposed to have pushed her backward, she parried the attack to slow him down on the sequence of attacks.
"I can't use strength against her…" Aion thought.
Aion activated Quick Spear while focusing his thrusts on her head. Countless sparks were created when both weapons collided with each other. And while Kala no longer had the leeway to parry all the thrusts, she wasn't struggling to block all of them either.
"What a troubleso woman…" Aion thought. "Let's add so variety and annoyance to my attacks…"
While stepping forward, Aion began to thrust his spear at other parts of Kala's body. Thanks to that, she was finally forced to take so steps back as well, and her expression of amusent vanished from her face.
All of a sudden, Aion made a hole in the ground behind her when she stepped back in order to break her balance, but when she noticed that she wouldn't get a firm footing there, Kala jumped to the side. She noticed that extrely fast and made her decision even faster…
"Attacking with magic would have been more effective, but I guess you are out of mana," Kala said. "It pains to say this, but this would be difficult if you hadn't used so much mana tonight."
Mana wasn't really a problem. The real problem was that the condition of his body didn't let Aion calm down and think straight. His pride was also getting in the way. If he had to use magic, he wanted to use just enough to annoy her.
In the end, Kala took a magic ring from her pocket and equipped them. Aion could feel so mana from it, and the fact that he couldn't see a gem proved that the item had a rune in it… it was weird, considering how small it would be, though. In any case, Aion raised his guard, but Kala still felt compelled to attack. She was crazy enough to jump and swing both daggers toward Aion…
That was suspicious, so Aion jumped to the side and dodged the attack, but she still threw the weapon at his face. The projectile's speed forced Aion to block it. Still, when he did it, Aion was shocked by a powerful wave of electricity coming from the dagger…
