In that thought, ten! Years passed.

During that ti, nothing happened... Sorry, wrong channel.

Actually, quite a few things happened during those ten years. First of all, by the third day, Furina began to feel that sothing was off.

Three days had passed. Furina had slept on the floor for three days, and the man still hadn't woken up.

During those three days, Furina kept a close eye on the man, not daring to let her guard down for even a mont. She had completely lost any chance to relax, even in her own room.

This was a minor issue, though. After all, relaxing in her room was like a drop in the bucket—what really mattered was that she had slept on the floor for three whole days!!!

In her own room, the mighty Hydro Archon had slept on the floor for three days. Was there no justice in this world?!

Oh right, the less justice, the better.

Wait, no! Even if there's no justice, there are still gods watching over everything!

I'm a god! Even if I'm a fake one, I'm still a god, right? How could anyone disrespect a god like this?!

Furina glared fiercely at the man in front of her, shoving a spoon toward his mouth.

The man was propped up against the headboard, his eyes closed. When he felt the spoon touch his lips, he opened his mouth slightly.

"You're definitely awake, right? Open your eyes right now!"

Seeing this, Furina's glare intensified.

On the first day, Furina had been waiting for the man to wake up. But by the second day, she began to suspect sothing was wrong.

To prevent the man from starving, Furina had no choice but to figure out how to feed him and that's when she beca even more suspicious.

Because when Furina, unsure of how to feed him, simply tried placing the spoon near his mouth, he opened his mouth on his own.

Imdiately, Furina put the plate down and shook the man vigorously.

But it was no use.

The man was like a corpse. He would open his mouth when fed, but otherwise, he remained completely still.

Was he faking it?

Furina suspected as much and wanted to test him by not feeding him to see how long he could keep his eyes closed.

But after half a day, Furina gave in and fed him again.

What could she do? The Hydro Archon was just too soft-hearted.

But being soft-hearted didn't an she wasn't angry.

Who was this man? Why did she have to sleep on the floor because of so stranger? He should be the one sleeping on the floor!

But then again, how could she make a sick person sleep on the floor?

Even though that made sense, Furina was still furious!!

"No, today I'm sleeping on the bed."

Furina finally made this decision.

She couldn't bring herself to throw the man off the bed, but the bed was big enough for two people, right?

People need to push themselves. Before this, Furina had no idea she could endure so much just for a bed.

It's fine. He's unconscious anyway.

With all the stress she was under every day, sleeping on the floor was just too much to bear!

Furina tried to console herself and finally accepted reality.

So that night, she actually got into bed.

She and the man each took half of the bed. Furina closed her eyes, feeling slightly uneasy.

But upon reflection, there was nothing to worry about. After all, sleeping on the floor and sleeping on the bed were equally unsafe.

For now, she could only take things one step at a ti.

In fact, the current situation wasn't too bad. It would be best if the man remained unconscious until the prophecy was resolved.

Furina comforted herself, quickly calming down and falling asleep.

She didn't have the energy to overthink things. Having only been in her position for less than a year, Furina was still in an unstable state. She couldn't perform any miracles, yet she had to make the people firmly believe she was the Hydro Archon. At this ti, the people of Fontaine didn't fully trust her yet.

When she first took office, so even suspected she was a puppet propped up by the Maison Gardiennage. And Furina couldn't use her powers to prove she was the real Hydro Archon.

It could be said that this was the most difficult ti for Furina. Every day, she had to ensure she had enough energy to outwit the people.

These people included commoners, nobles, and the Maison Gardiennage.

In short, while this strange man who had suddenly entered her world posed a significant potential danger, at this mont, he truly wasn't worth Furina spending too much energy on.

Since he was unconscious and didn't seem like he would wake up anyti soon, she decided to ignore him.

Aside from feeding him and cleaning him every day, she would act as if he didn't exist.

...Thankfully, this mysterious man didn't seem to need to use the bathroom. Furina hadn't seen the bed get dirty these past few days, or else she would have been even more stressed.

The mighty Hydro Archon wiping a man's... Furina couldn't even imagine it.

In fact, Furina suspected the man might not even need to eat, but she didn't dare take the risk.

After all, what if he really starved to death?

Forget it, she wouldn't worry about it. This was fine for now.

Ti to sleep.

And so, Furina quickly fell asleep.

This was a skill she had learned under pressure. Furina was very good at falling asleep instantly.

Even with her mind full of worries, she could fall asleep in less than a minute.

The next morning, she slowly woke up and opened her eyes.

Blinking in confusion, Furina stared blankly at the man's profile for a mont before suddenly realizing what had happened. She quickly scooted back, pulling her arms and legs away, and sat up, rubbing her forehead in frustration.

Last night, she had unknowingly used him as a body pillow.

To be honest, Furina had never used a body pillow before. This was her first ti, and it actually felt pretty good. It improved her sleep quality.

It was just a little...

Furina silently glanced down at the man, who was still unconscious and motionless.

The man's wet clothes had long been thrown away by Furina. They were tattered and unsightly, so there was no point in keeping them.

So now, the man was only wearing underwear.

Thinking about it, Furina clenched her fists.

Because she had washed and dried that underwear herself and even put it on him. Not even a wife would serve her husband with such care, right?

Sigh...

Furina took a deep breath, pulling her wandering thoughts back on track.

Right, this man... needed clothes.

She had just spent the night hugging a naked man. Was that appropriate?

Not at all!

Using the man as a body pillow was fine. That was all he was good for now, and he was unconscious anyway.

But she was a young, unmarried woman. Hugging a naked man in her sleep was definitely a problem.

No, she had to get him so clothes.
