ng Yunjing looked at Mo Shu’s smile, the mirth in his eyes deepening, his gaze carried an almost imperceptible doting, "You..."
Mr. Mo’s smile was full of warmth, when suddenly he caught sight of Qin An standing beside them, and said, "Qin An, I haven’t introduced you yet, this is ng Yunjing, the grandson of my niece’s daughter."
Qin An offered a polite smile, but quickly sensed sothing amiss and said, "In that case, according to seniority, shouldn’t it be..."
Mr. Mo shook his head helplessly and said, "By seniority, he should be calling Shushu his cousin aunty, but this kid is too clever, and he looked down on having a two-year-old as his aunt, so he kept coaxing her into calling him brother. It’s been over a decade now, you can call him Brother Yun Jing along with Shushu."
Finally understanding, Qin An called out, "Brother Yun Jing."
ng Yunjing gave a courteous smile, but there wasn’t the sa hint of joy on his face as when Mo Shu called him that.
Qin An had always been good at picking up on subtle cues, and at a glance, she noticed the faint displeasure hidden behind ng Yunjing’s gentlemanly façade.
She imdiately fell silent, not saying another word.
Then ng Yunjing began to discuss the fashion industry with Elder Mo. The Old Man didn’t contribute much to the conversation, but Mo Shu and ng Yunjing started to chat more animatedly.
To Qin An’s surprise, she discovered that Mo Shu was not completely ignorant of business.
Mo Jiantao always said that Mo Shu was good for nothing, and combined with Mo Shu’s historical image and rumors, it had led Qin An to believe that Mo Shu truly had nothing comndable about her.
Furthermore, with Mo Shu’s continuous harsh attitude towards her, Qin An subconsciously thought of her as arrogant and pretentious, with a façade lacking substance.
Now, listening to her talk with ng Yunjing, she found Mo Shu’s manner of speaking and deanor to be unexpectedly elegant.
Even when Mo Shu was engaged in conversation, her innate noble aura did not diminish in the slightest, and her every move exuded a natural air of aristocracy.
Qin An watched her red lips parting and closing but didn’t absorb a word she said until she suddenly heard a knock at the door.
"Sir, Princess, Young Master ng, dinner is ready."
That was when their conversation finally ca to a close.
As they sat down for dinner, Mo Jiantao just happened to arrive, followed by Qin Yuan.
Qin Yuan, seeing Qin An seated beside Mo Shu, felt her heart jump to her throat. She observed carefully, only letting out a sigh of relief after confirming that Qin An was unhard.
As a guest, ng Yunjing naturally greeted Mo Jiantao and Mrs. Mo when they arrived, "President Mo, Mrs. Mo."
