Mr. Wei Senior arrived at the Yu Family residence with a long line of bodyguards, with a presence that was certainly formidable.
The look of him made it clear—he was here for retaliation.
The Yu Family, having high ntal resilience, didn’t flinch at the sight; respectfully they opened the door and welcod Mr. Wei Senior inside in a friendly manner.
Of course, this was Yu Siqiao’s intention.
"Miss Wei represented our Wei Family at Princess Mo’s birthday party, and now, not only has she not returned in one piece, but she’s also gone completely mad. Doesn’t your Yu Family owe an explanation?" Mr. Wei Senior got straight to the point as soon as he arrived.
Mo Shu had anticipated that the other party would not let the matter rest so easily, and she was not surprised as she responded, "Mr. Wei."
Old Sir Wei didn’t have much interaction with the Mo Family and was only slightly familiar with Mo Shu from hearsay.
Now, upon seeing Mo Shu, there was a flash of awe in his eyes.
It was rumored that Princess Mo possessed a beauty that was stunning, and now he saw that it was indeed true.
However, Mr. Wei Senior quickly scoffed, "So, you are Mo Shu?"
Mo Shu, polite and with a slight smile, stepped forward, "Yes, please co in and have a seat. If there’s anything to discuss, we can sit down and talk."
Mr. Wei Senior had co looking for trouble, and hearing her words, he beca even more infuriated, "Sit down and talk? After what you’ve done to my daughter, do you think I’m in any mood for a chat!"
"I understand you’re upset, but you should also be clear about what actually happened before you co here making demands," Yu Siqiao walked out from inside, his voice cool and detached.
Yu Siqiao naturally walked to Mo Shu’s side and, placing an arm around her shoulders, looked at Mr. Wei Senior, "Please, take a seat. I’m concerned you may not be able to stand later."
Mr. Wei Senior, fuming, scoffed, "Is that a threat?"
No sooner had he spoken than his bodyguards surged forward, forming a wall of muscle around him.
At first glance, it was indeed intimidating.
However, both Mo Shu and Yu Siqiao were undeterred by such a show of force.
Taking his ti, Yu Siqiao casually sat down with his wife.
Yu Chen’s assistant, holding a laptop, approached Mr. Wei Senior with the utmost respect, "Here is the video of Miss Wei at the hotel entrance earlier today, seen by many."
Mr. Wei Senior, contemptuous, waved a hand dismissively; and at that signal, one of his bodyguards lunged at Yu Chen.
Yet before he could get close, Ji Nan stepped in front of Yu Chen even quicker, seizing the attacker’s hand.
Mo Shu, all smiles, said, "Old Sir Wei, there’s no need for such anger, we’re all adults here, and being impulsive isn’t wise."
"I’m the one speaking; when did it beco your place to talk, you lesser?" Mr. Wei Senior barked coldly, "What are you worth? Call Mo Han to speak with !"
Yu Siqiao narrowed his eyes.
Mo Shu, still smiling, replied, "That’s hardly appropriate. My grandpa is getting old, not as hale and hearty as you, and according to our generational ranks, you should be calling my grandpa uncle. Shouldn’t you speak to your elders a bit more politely? Don’t you think?"
Finally, Mr. Wei Senior glanced sideways, sneering, "You sure have a smart mouth!"
"Thank you for your complint, but I am no match for Miss Wei’s wit and intelligence. In just a few years, she went from the lowest status in the Wei Family to the top of her generation—a feat I admit I cannot match."
Mr. Wei Senior’s face grew even darker, and he shouted angrily, "You have the nerve to ntion her!"
