Mo Shu: "I dreamt it."
She struggled to get up, saying, "I need to go."
Yu Siqiao lifted her, allowing her to sit on the bed, and said, "I will get your clothes."
Mo Shu responded, then asked Sao Zha, "Why did the system suddenly issue a warning? It never alerted when I was asleep before."
Sao Zha: ["Because this ti it was an ergency situation, and the system has been upgraded. Otherwise, such situations wouldn’t have triggered a notification previously."]
If it hadn’t been for the system notification, Mo Shu would have only heard about Mo Jiantao’s murder the next day.
And given Qin Yuan’s cunning nature, she would likely have shifted the bla onto soone else, remaining a good wife, a good stepmother, forever Mo Jiantao’s first love in his heart.
Now, however, because of the system’s notification, Mo Shu had called, and Qin Yuan was caught on the spot, Mo Jiantao was also tily rescued.
Mo Shu suddenly felt very fortunate; she was glad the system had been upgraded.
Sao Zha: ["Don’t worry, he has passed the critical phase, and his luck is incredibly good."]
Mo Shu calmly said, "I’m not worried, but indeed, his luck is good."
Who would have thought that in the dead of night, he would be suffocated with a pillow by his own wife?
Mo Shu felt sowhat sympathetic towards him.
Yu Siqiao quickly ca over with clothes, Mo Shu stood up, and extended her hand to take off her nightgown, but Yu Siqiao quickly helped her.
As Mo Shu smoothly put on her clothes, she suddenly said, "Qin Yuan has been married to Mo Jiantao for sixteen years."
"Mhm." Yu Siqiao helped her put on the dress, tugging at the skirt.
Mo Shu said, "After so many years of marriage, what deep hatred could she have that she must kill her own husband?"
Yu Siqiao picked up a comb and combed her hair, saying, "Don’t think too much about it. Their conflicts weren’t ford in a day or two; they accumulated over more than ten years. It won’t happen to us, don’t worry."
Mo Shu’s thoughts were seen through; she took his hand, and quietly followed him out the door.
At five in the morning, the couple arrived at the hospital.
Mo Jiantao was already rescued, out of mortal danger.
Qin Yuan had been crying non-stop, constantly saying she had been bewitched.
Mo Jiantao sat on the hospital bed, silent all the while.
When Mo Shu arrived, Qin Yuan looked up at her, eyes filled with evident resentnt.
Mo Shu clearly noticed it and t Qin Yuan’s gaze head-on.
Qin Yuan glared at her, crying, "What exactly did you tell your dad, Mo Shu? All these years, I believe I haven’t done anything to wrong you. How can you treat this way! When you slandered, did you consider your own conscience?"
En route, Mo Shu had still been groggy, and her spirits weren’t great; hearing Qin Yuan’s cry, she beca sowhat irritable and said, "What nonsense. ’If you don’t want others to know, don’t do it yourself.’ Haven’t you understood this saying despite your age?"
Yu Siqiao stood beside Mo Shu, his gaze towards Qin Yuan slightly cold.
Mo Jiantao coldly said, "Enough!"
Qin Yuan cried even louder, "Jiantao, I’m sorry I was wrong, I really was just montarily possessed..."
"You’ve wanted to kill for a long ti, haven’t you?" Mo Jiantao felt sowhat sad, "I never knew that the wife who slept beside for over a decade actually hated so much."
