But after so consideration, Ms. Xing ngzheng still followed.
Another round of cards was dealt, and Aunt Yu still had the largest hand, a Spade Q.
Zhang Zifa glanced at their cards.
Xing ngzheng had Diamond 3, Diamond 4, Diamond 6.
Mo Shu had Plum Flower 9, Plum Flower J, Plum Flower K.
Aunt Yu’s hand was much better, consisting of Spade A, Spade K, Spade Q.
And Zhang Zifa had the worst hand, a Plum Flower 10, Diamond 9, Spade 3, and the bottom card was a K.
Covering her cards, Zhang Zifa scoffed, "I’m out!"
Before the player with the largest hand could speak, Zhang Zifa had already given up.
Aunt Yu glanced at the hands of Mo Shu and Xing ngzheng and realized they both had a flush, with Xing ngzheng’s cards even forming a sequence!
Seeing their expressions, which lacked any significant nervousness, Aunt Yu suddenly felt a bit uneasy.
Her own hand looked the largest and was also sequential, but her bottom card was an A, at most making a pair.
If their hands were a flush or even a straight flush, wouldn’t she definitely lose?
But this ga was all about psychological warfare.
What if they were just bluffing to scare her?
Aunt Yu observed their expressions, her heart uncertain.
But Mo Shu seed unfazed. Aunt Yu tentatively said, "My dear niece-in-law, your cards look pretty good, don’t they?"
"Ah, really?" Mo Shu appeared sowhat clueless, "I can’t tell, but I’ll stick with you to the end," she said, smiling sweetly, "Aunt Yu, with the largest hand, could it be a straight flush?"
Aunt Yu beca cautious, "You say you don’t understand, how would you know about a straight flush?"
Mo Shu grinned, "Haven’t eaten pork but have seen pigs run, plus you seem so happy, it must likely be a straight flush."
"That’s right," Aunt Yu, visibly excited, blurted out, "Just telling you the truth, if another Spade cos, it’s either a flush or a straight flush, I’ll raise another two million! Are you following or not?"
Aunt Yu appeared joyful on the surface but was actually very nervous inside.
Although Xing ngzheng’s were all Diamonds and nurically small, at least they ford a flush and were sequential.
Mo Shu’s weren’t sequential, but they were all flushes too.
If their luck was just a bit better, they could both win.
"Of course, I’ll follow," Mo Shu said innocently, "As I said, I’m sticking with you to the end. I wasn’t planning to win; as long as Aunt Yu is happy, that’s enough for ."
Look, how sensible those words were.
That flattery was exceptionally smooth.
Aunt Yu was extrely pleased, giving an approving look, "You are indeed smarter and more understanding than my nephew. He’s lucky to have you."
Mo Shu’s smile widened while the surrounding aunts cast curious glances at Mo Shu.
Xing ngzheng also increased her bet, and when the last card was dealt, Aunt Yu’s anxiety lessened considerably.
It was a K!
With her bottom card, she now had a pair of A’s and a pair of K’s, two pairs!
Xing ngzheng, anwhile, had a Diamond 10.
When Aunt Yu saw it, her heart skipped a beat. Could Xing ngzheng, so quietly, have a flush?
At Mo Shu’s end, there was also another Q, giving her two Q’s on the board.
From the look of the cards, Aunt Yu’s was still the largest.
Trying to contain her unease, she asked, "Sister-in-law, could you possibly have a flush?"
Xing ngzheng’s smile was radiant, ever so composed, "Indeed."
Aunt Yu: "I don’t believe it, if it was a flush, why would you admit it? You must be lying to !"
