Mo Family Castle’s architectural style was incredibly dreamy, and with the pink petal rain falling down, it was just like an elf princess’s castle from a fairy tale.
Mo Shu watched the petals gently spiraling down, reaching out to catch two, her lips curved into a smile, "So beautiful."
The petals carried a special fragrance that was refreshing and sunny.
Yu Siqiao looked around, holding the woman in his arms and said, "The weather is really nice today."
Mo Shu: "Yes, it is."
"Perfect for getting the marriage certificate."
Mo Shu’s eyes smiled, "Mhm."
Yu Siqiao carried her out of the Mo Family’s front courtyard, taking one step at a ti out of the Mo Family’s main gate.
People say, on the day of marriage, when the bride walks out the door, she cannot look back.
Mo Shu didn’t know why, but at that mont, she really wanted to look back.
Behind her, there was Grandpa Mo watching her, as well as Mo Jiantao and Qin Yuan.
Even though they were at odds with each other... they were always her family.
The door of the car in front of her was already open, and Mo Shu felt unexpectedly reluctant.
After Yu Siqiao carried her into the car, Mo Shu turned her head and looked towards Mo Family’s main gate.
Grandpa Mo was standing at the doorway, with Mo Jiantao, Qin Yuan, and Qin An all watching her.
Qin An noticed Mo Shu’s gaze and raised her hand, waving to her.
Mo Shu waved back at her, then her gaze slid towards Grandpa Mo.
Grandpa Mo, advanced in years, seeing his only granddaughter getting married, couldn’t help feeling joy but also couldn’t stop his tears.
What made Mo Shu pause was seeing Mo Jiantao also looking at her, and whether it was her illusion or not, she thought she saw his eyes redden slightly.
Yet in a mont, Mo Jiantao averted his eyes, and Mo Shu saw an expression of disdain as if he ’hmphed’.
Mo Shu wanted to laugh but found herself with teary eyes.
The car started, and they quickly arrived at the civil affairs bureau.
Receiving the marriage certificate was quick and clean.
The stamp pressed down, and the warm marriage certificate was swiftly produced.
Holding the marriage certificate in her hands, Mo Shu felt it almost unreal, but looking up at the man beside her beaming with smiles, her hand clutching the certificate tightened.
Yu Siqiao examined the marriage certificate in his hand repeatedly, feeling as if he was being brushed by a feather.
Finally, they were married.
At the wedding venue, Mo Shu made her way inside, and the whole villa was filled with the ambiance of the wedding.
Suddenly, petals rained down overhead once more.
Wherever she went, there were exclamations of wonder.
Mo Shu rested for a while, then changed into a wedding gown.
The wedding dress, lavishly luxurious and exquisitely crafted, was specially made by a famous French artisan Xing ngzheng.
Yu Siqiao, too, was dressed in a neatly cut white suit, uncharacteristically exuding a scholarly charm.
In the presence of family and friends, Ji Nan brought up their wedding bands, and she and Yu Siqiao exchanged rings.
The wedding was intended to be as simple as possible, but even after simplification, it was still very grand.
Just considering the reputations of the Mo and Yu families, there were many guests who ca to attend the wedding.
