"Wear them all," Sha Sha brought over the tray and handed it to Mo Shu, "These are all gifts from your relatives, a small token of their love. Put them all on."
"That’s way too much!" Mo Shu, seeing the phoenix crown next to her, felt it was overwhelming, not to ntion all the other items piling on her, it must be so uncomfortable!
"Not at all, just pick a few that look nice. Look, this one is good," Sha Sha picked up a ’Dragon and Phoenix’ piece, "Just wear it casually. When I arrived, grandma specifically told to keep an eye on you, she must have known you would react like this."
As she spoke, Sha Sha put a bracelet on her and chose a few necklaces, big and bold ones.
She looked radiant with all the jewels.
Soone shouted, "The groom is coming!"
Sha Sha’s eyes lit up, "Hurry, hurry! Stick to the plan!"
The makeup artist quickly pressed the phoenix crown onto Mo Shu’s head.
The front of the phoenix crown was a row of beaded curtains, golden chains adorned with beautiful pearls, covering Mo Shu’s already stunning face, giving her a hint of shyness and happiness.
The whole house was lively, with red ’double happiness’ decorations inside and outside the Mo Family, and even the servants wore red double happiness qipaos.
Even the gardeners and drivers were in festive, traditional attire, shouting louder as Yu Siqiao’s convoy arrived, voices carrying into the castle.
When Yu Siqiao got out of the car, his heart was almost bursting.
Leading the way was Li Shaobai, while Qin Fusi seeing Yu Siqiao’s obviously unsettled deanor, elbowed him, "Don’t be nervous, the brothers are all here with you."
Yu Siqiao: "Hah, who’s nervous?"
What a joke!
He, nervous?
"Brother Yu, your button is undone," Su Yuan suddenly shouted.
Yu Siqiao imdiately looked down, but all his buttons were in place, not a single one undone.
Laughter broke out around him, Yu Siqiao glared at them and stepped forward.
But the door was unexpectedly crowded; luckily, Yu Siqiao was prepared.
He pulled out red envelopes filled with cash, valuable travel vouchers, exchange coupons for bags, and even ownership deeds for apartnts.
Yu Siqiao made his way inside smoothly, only to discover that blocking the door was just a small part of the challenge; once inside, a group of bridesmaids insisted on playing gas with them.
Leading the charge was, of course, Li Shaobai.
Li Shaobai, looking at the row of cups in front of him, panicked, his voice high-pitched, "I knew you didn’t have good intentions asking to lead the way!!!"
Sha Sha grinned, "Good boy, pick one."
Li Shaobai swallowed, "Are these just alcoholic drinks?"
"Not exactly," Sha Sha smiled amiably, "There’s also herbal tea, cough syrup, and other weird stuff."
"Don’t dodge, everyone has to choose. There are only ten cups, drink and then you can see the bride," Sha Yun also called out, "Cousin, you go first."
Cousin: "..."
Yu Siqiao stepped forward, picked one of the strange liquids, and declared, "I’ll go first!"
He downed the cup; his was herbal tea.
Yu Siqiao sighed in relief.
Li Shaobai wasn’t so lucky, gulping down a bitter taste, nearly spitting it out, he couldn’t help but curse loudly, "What is this stuff!"
