Mo Shu’s heart felt as if it had been seared. She hugged his neck with both arms, feeling the strong arms around her waist, and instinctively felt at ease.
"Right, about the wedding dress we talked about last ti..."
The voice of Xing ngzheng ca in. Both of them were startled, and then their movents abruptly stopped.
Mo Shu pushed him away, her face flush with red.
Yu Siqiao smacked his lips, clearly in a good mood, though it was quite obvious.
Xing ngzheng walked in and imdiately knew what had happened. She held back a laugh, turned around, and said, "I didn’t see anything, you guys continue."
Mo Shu felt even more flush, and after watching Xing ngzheng leave, she turned back to look at Yu Siqiao.
Yu Siqiao appeared natural, as if having his mom catch him kissing his fiancée wasn’t sothing to feel embarrassed about.
eting Mo Shu’s gaze, Yu Siqiao’s eyes softened a bit, but he quickly looked away and asked, "What’s wrong with you today?"
Here it ca again.
Mo Shu sensed that he was intentionally distancing himself from her.
She moved closer to him and said, "Today, I t He Yong’er."
Yu Siqiao’s expressions tightened, but he didn’t look at her.
"I heard from Mo Jiantao that when I was unconscious, you had t He Yong’er and even used a lie detector on her. Seeing you’ve been upset recently, I guessed it might be because of sothing He Yong’er said in front of you."
Yu Siqiao took the coffee handed to him by the maid, his face unchanged.
Mo Shu continued, "So I went to ask her."
"Did you find out anything?"
"Nothing," Mo Shu’s face filled with disappointnt, "I knew I should have borrowed a lie detector from you before going."
Yu Siqiao finally glanced at her. "Why didn’t you just ask directly?"
A flicker of hope appeared in Mo Shu’s eyes, "If I asked you, would you have told ?"
Yu Siqiao looked away, his voice weak, "She said you approached just because of a bet, which is why you pursued for so many years."
"Do you believe it?"
Yu Siqiao remained silent.
Mo Shu grabbed his arm and pulled him closer. "I’ve pursued you for one, two, three..." Mo Shu counted on her fingers, "five years!"
Yu Siqiao actually wasn’t clear about how many years it had been.
He only knew that she used to be quite annoying.
Visiting his school to await him had been a common occurrence, as was suddenly organizing tea parties to declare her possession of him and forbid anyone else from coveting him.
He used to think she was boring, childish, and absolutely annoying.
Back then, Yu Siqiao thought he might never have anything to do with this woman for the rest of his life.
But unexpectedly, the woman turned out to be so bold and extre in her thods that she even drugged him—completely despicable!
At that ti, Yu Siqiao detested her to the utmost.
Yet, from so point, he slowly began to feel that this woman was actually quite good.
His mory began to blur, and Yu Siqiao didn’t realize when he started to change his mind about her.
Seeing him not speaking, Mo Shu said, "At first, I didn’t approach you because I liked you, but later... when I got pregnant, I felt that instead of letting my child have a broken family like mine, it would be better not to have the child, so I wanted to abort it."
"If, at that ti, you had let abort the child, perhaps we would have just parted ways, because at that ti I truly had given up on you."
