Mo Shu felt like sothing had scalded her heart. She said, "I’ll co to find you."
Yu Siqiao beca sowhat more lucid and glanced at the clock on the bedside table, "Now?"
"Now," Mo Shu was firm.
Yu Siqiao suddenly sat up, "What’s wrong?"
"I miss you."

Hearing this system alert inexplicably soothed Mo Shu’s anxious heart.
I miss you.
Yu Siqiao felt a warmth in his heart, but the first image that ca to his mind was of her staring at him expressionlessly.

The sound of He Yong’er’s voice lingered by his ear, prompting Yu Siqiao to close his eyes as the warm feeling faded slightly.
Was her statent of missing him genuine?
"It’s too late," Yu Siqiao said, "What made you think of calling in the middle of the night?"
Mo Shu had already started to change clothes. Upon hearing this, her movents to explain paused. After thinking for a mont, she said, "I had a nightmare that scared awake."
Yu Siqiao fell silent.
Even the timing of a nightmare was such a coincidence.
"What did you dream about?"
"I dread... that you were standing in front of , saying you and Gu Wenjuan rekindled your old feelings," as Mo Shu said this, her heart ached faintly, "then you took Gu Wenjuan’s hand and walked away, not wanting or the baby."
This scene was one she had previously dread of.
In the half month she’d been in the real world, this nightmare recurred every night.
At that ti, she did not know who Yu Siqiao was, but her heart still hurt trendously, as if it were being torn open.
Yu Siqiao remained silent for a while, "There’s nothing going on between and Gu Wenjuan."

Speaking half truths, Mo Shu’s gaze grew heavier.

"Even if it was real, it’s just a dream," Yu Siqiao’s gaze remained on the digital alarm clock on the bedside table, his thoughts drifting far away as he muttered, "They are not real, don’t take them seriously."
These words were directed at Mo Shu, but also at himself.
What had happened was real.
But dreams would always just be dreams.
Mo Shu’s heart tightened slightly, sensing an underlying ssage in his words.
"Go to bed early," Yu Siqiao spoke softly, "Early to bed, early to rise. You’re still quite weak now, you need to rest more."
"But, many things that have happened aren’t necessarily true," Mo Shu said, "Like the things you said to , about rekindling old feelings with Gu Wenjuan, they weren’t true, were they?"
"Uh-huh, those were words said in anger."
"That day, I just wanted you to spend so ti alone with Gu Wenjuan. I didn’t intend for her to drug you, and I had no idea she would do... that to you..."
"I know."
His voice, deep and unique to a man, was indifferent.
Yet, it signified he didn’t mind.
Mo Shu knew he understood, but she didn’t want him to just understand.
Hesitating for a mont, Mo Shu said, "Is that why you’ve been so unhappy recently?"
Yu Siqiao grew silent for a split second, then he seed to smile, yet not really. He said, "It’s all in the past."
