Mo Shu glanced at the docunts in front of him, "Alright then, don’t stay too late."
"Okay."
Mo Shu looked at him, then turned around and walked out.
It was ti for dinner for Yu Chen, who, upon seeing Mo Shu walking out, asked, "Are you leaving now?"
Mo Shu closed the door of the CEO’s office, made a shushing gesture, and said, "Not yet, he’s busy, I’ll wait outside for a while."
Yu Chen was taken aback.
Has the CEO been very busy lately?
Not really.
There wasn’t much business in the company recently that required Yu Siqiao to work overti.
Where did the busyness co from?
Yu Chen probed, "Did Young Master Yu ask you to wait?"
Mo Shu shook his head, "He asked to go back first, but I still have things I want to talk to him about. Let him be busy for now, you go ahead with your work, don’t mind ."
Upon hearing this, Yu Chen had an idea of what was happening.
Yu Chen looked at Mo Shu with a slightly odd expression but said nothing, quickly adding, "Then you sit for a while."
Mo Shu had already taken a seat on the sofa in the reception room, and Yu Chen silently retreated to Yu Siqiao’s office.
Yu Siqiao indeed had unfinished business, but not much was left.
He reviewed a few docunts and signed the final ones; it took less than ten minutes. When he looked up, he noticed Yu Chen standing not far away, frowning, "Aren’t you off work yet?"
"Princess Mo is waiting outside for you," Yu Chen said, "She said she wants to wait for you to finish up."
Yu Siqiao paused in his movent.
Yu Chen cleared his throat, "Have you been arguing with Princess Mo lately?"
Since Princess Mo woke up, there seed to be a lot of coldness between them.
Yu Chen was the closest person to Yu Siqiao, naturally knowing all his affairs.
He seed unconcerned but still often paid attention to Princess Mo’s whereabouts.
If Princess Mo ate a bit more today, Yu Siqiao would slightly curl his lips in happiness; if Princess Mo was in a better mood today, Yu Siqiao would silently breathe a sigh of relief.
Yet, he was avoiding seeing her.
Although Yu Chen didn’t know why, he knew that Yu Siqiao must be feeling awful.
Yu Chen was truly happy for Yu Siqiao when Princess Mo ca over.
However, now that she was here, Yu Siqiao seed ready to send her away after just a al, which was...
Yu Chen cleared his throat gently, reminding him, "Princess Mo is still pregnant, and she was just discharged from the hospital yesterday. It’s best if you spend more ti with her. The most important thing for a pregnant woman is her mood."
Yu Siqiao snorted coldly, "You seem to know quite a bit?"
Yu Chen showed a professional fake smile, "I did so research, just in case."
Yu Siqiao took a deep breath and walked out.
By this ti, most of the company’s staff had left. Mo Shu was half-leaning on the sofa, surrounded by Ji Nan and Ji Bei.
Ji Nan and Ji Bei looked straight ahead as Yu Siqiao approached.
As Yu Siqiao neared the sofa, he found Mo Shu leaning on it with her eyes closed, breathing evenly, looking as though she had fallen asleep.
Yu Siqiao glanced at the ti; it was not even eight o’clock. Was she that sleepy?
Subconsciously lightening his steps, Yu Siqiao reached out and gently lifted her.
Mo Shu seed to be awakened by the movent, and when she saw him, she blinked.
Yu Siqiao glanced at her, "Didn’t I tell you to go back first?"
Mo Shu reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, "I wanted to spend more ti with you."
Her voice was soft, sweet, and slightly muffled by sleepiness.
Yu Siqiao was unexpectedly moved and pressed his lips together without saying a word.
