Mo Shu tilted her head slightly and looked at him with clear, clean eyes. Despite the calm appearance, the hint of grievance in her gaze was touching.
Yu Siqiao was quiet for a mont, his usually cold eyes softened slightly as he said, "I’ve been rather busy lately."
"So busy that you haven’t had ti to see ?" Mo Shu muttered softly, her voice holding a trace of resentnt, "Last night, I dread you walked away with another woman, telling to abort our baby, and then... you were holding her hand and left."
Coincidentally, he had the sa dream last night.
In his dream, he saw her living happily with their child. They were dressed in beautiful matching outfits. Mo Shu and a cute baby girl were hopping and jumping around, laughing identically.
In their world, he didn’t exist.
Yu Siqiao, rely an onlooker, watched them live out their lives.
When their child asked Mo Shu, "Mom, where is our dad?"
Mo Shu, looking indifferent, casually said, "Mom doesn’t love dad, so you don’t have a dad."

Mo Shu quickly said, "I believe you wouldn’t. It was just a nightmare."
Yu Siqiao murmured in agreent, then casually asked, "Have you eaten yet?"
"No."
"Then let’s go eat," Yu Siqiao took her hand, "What would you like?"
Mo Shu was surprised for a mont, "This early?"
"It’s not early, it’s already after five," Yu Siqiao spoke calmly, "We’ll co back to work after eating."
Mo Shu felt there was sothing off, but couldn’t find any flaws in Yu Siqiao’s statent.
Alright then.
Eat then co back to work.

When Mo Shu was pulled along, she noticed his expression was always faint, no different from usual.
Yet, for so reason, her sense of happiness had not changed, and that baffled Mo Shu.

She ordered a few dishes he liked, and a soup for herself.
Yu Siqiao glanced at her selections, then added a dessert.
It was taro puree.
Seeing this small detail, Mo Shu’s eyes gradually brightened with a smile, and she happily said, "Thank you."
"Thank you."
Yu Siqiao glanced at her briefly and then looked away, saying, "Grandpa Wu ntioned you have recovered well, so let’s continue with the wedding."
Mo Shu’s ears perked up, "The wedding? The sa date?"
Yu Siqiao lowered his gaze, "Mhm."
"Not much ti left then, less than a month," Mo Shu pulled out her phone to calculate, "28 days left."
"Mhm," Yu Siqiao spoke softly, "Are you happy?"
