"When you grew up a bit and didn’t like to eat, you beca malnourished, as thin as a monkey. It was your grandma who took you to do charity work, hoping to build up your virtue. Who would have known that you’d throw a tantrum and run off into the deep mountains all alone, almost getting eaten by wolves? Lucky for you, a kind-hearted person ca along, or else... hmph!"
Recalling this episode from the past, Yu Siqiao couldn’t help but think of Gu Wenjuan’s mom.
It was such a tiny person who had saved him.
Later, when he returned ho, it was only much later that he heard she had passed away. He felt sad and sowhat in debt.
He instructed his grandmother to donate so more money to their family in the na of charity, to help ease the life of her remaining daughter and elderly mother.
That sum of money was enough to ensure they would not have to worry about food or clothes for the rest of their lives.
They didn’t have much in common, practically from two different worlds.
But Yu Siqiao had never expected that Gu Wenjuan’s life would turn out so poorly.
Yu ngng nuzzled up against Yu Siqiao’s leg, its stunning purple iridescent horn seeming to glint beautifully. It had sothing in its mouth.
Yu Siqiao held out his hand, and the object landed in his palm.
It was a small tooth, shiny and white, looking as though it shimred with fluorescence.
Yu ngng looked up at Yu Siqiao with a pitiful grin, its mouth full of beautiful teeth obviously missing two.
Xing ngzheng burst into loud laughter, "This little guy is shedding teeth, it gave one yesterday too, and I’ve kept it."
Yu Siqiao also couldn’t help but smile, and asked his mom, "Did you do the vet check-up we had scheduled?"
"Yes, we did, we even got it a trainer who specializes in racehorse maintenance, very healthy," Xing ngzheng really liked Yu ngng. "Our ngng is also very smart. So pretty and clever. In the future, once you and Shushu have kids, it can even help grandma babysit, right, ngng?"
Yu ngng happily leaped up and quickly scampered away.
When it ca back, it had another thing in its mouth—a photo of Mo Shu.
Yu Siqiao looked at it, paused, then asked, "Did you sneak into my study?"
Yu ngng wagged its little tail, hopping and skipping around happily.
Yu Siqiao watched the photograph in his hands with a soft gaze and a gentle smile, and suddenly said, "How about I take you to find your mom?"
Yu ngng’s big round eyes widened, sparkling with light, and it cheered in a milky voice.
Yu Siqiao took Yu ngng and got into his Maybach.
Yu ngng wasn’t very tall but was sowhat lanky.
After getting into the back seat, it had to curl its front legs, yet it still looked around excitedly, nudging Yu Siqiao to look at pretty things it noticed.
However, the greatest reaction from Yu ngng ca when the Maybach finally stopped.
The dark, beautiful large eyes reflected a luxurious yet quaint mysterious castle; the vast estate delighted Yu ngng imnsely.
The driver quickly opened the door, and Yu ngng jumped out and began to run.
The guards at the castle gates naturally recognized Yu Siqiao’s car and were surprised to see such a creature co bolting out of it, taking a second glance.
As Yu ngng was a bit skittish, it didn’t dare to get too close and quickly turned to scamper back to Yu Siqiao’s side, tugging at his clothes to hurry him along.
Yu Siqiao, of course, had no troubles entering, and soon he was inside the Mo Family estate.
Just on the way there, Yu Siqiao had already called to inform Grandpa Mo of his visit. Grandpa wasn’t surprised by his arrival, but seeing the unicorn beside him did arouse his curiosity.
