Mo Family Hospital.

Abortion surgery required recovery, similar to confinent after childbirth.

Though the ti needed wasn’t as long as a full month of confinent, at least a week of recovery was necessary.

And a week felt quite lengthy.

Mo Shu sat in the VIP lounge, her mind full of thoughts about how to keep this major act a secret from Grandpa and from the public.

In the original plot, the reason Mo Shu’s miscarriage remained a tight secret was that she stayed indoors under the pretense of nurturing her pregnancy.

Now, since nothing had happened yet, she couldn’t use that excuse.

As she contemplated, suddenly a nurse knocked on the door, "Princess Mo, the operating room is ready."

Mo Shu turned her eyes to Ji Nan and asked, "How long has it been?"

Ji Nan said, "14 minutes and 58 seconds."

Mo Shu then stood up and walked towards the operating room with calm and graceful steps.

The operating room was clearly disinfected. The nurse had Mo Shu change into a sterile, loose hospital gown before letting her lie on the operating table.

Mo Shu closed her eyes, even able to feel the sensation of the anesthesia slowly moving through her veins.

Suddenly, she spoke out, "Ji Nan."

Ji Nan imdiately responded, "I’m here."

Ji Nan, too, had donned a sterile suit and stood by Mo Shu’s side, ready to et any of Princess Mo’s needs.

With her eyes closed, Mo Shu spoke softly, "Have soone prepare the villa in Zhoushan; I want to stay there for a week."

"Zhoushan?" Ji Nan looked at her calm deanor, feeling a bit hurt and couldn’t help but tear up, "Zhoushan is too quiet, isn’t it? You’ve always disliked such places. You said they’re lifeless, too lonely, staying there feels like being a wandering soul."

Mo Shu kept her eyes closed, and upon hearing Ji Nan’s words, she lightly curled her lips, "That’s better. That way no one will find out. Just tell everyone I’m going on a vacation."

Ji Nan looked at the curve of Mo Shu’s lips, her heart feeling as though it was being gripped, and she choked up, saying, "Princess Mo, are you really going to terminate this child?"

Mo Shu heard her crying tone and finally opened her eyes.

Ji Nan almost pleaded, "Please think it through! You know best how much you’ve always loved Young Master Yu, you’d finally gotten engaged to him and were expecting, how can you bear to abort your first child..."

Mo Shu: "..."

Are bodyguards these days all so sentintal?

She hadn’t even said anything yet, and Ji Nan was nearly crying?

Mo Shu felt sowhat moved, but in response to her sentintality, Mo Shu remained indifferent and said, "Go prepare."

Ji Nan had never anticipated Princess Mo would be so ruthless this ti!

Just as she was about to say sothing more, she heard Mo Shu sharply command, "Get out."

Ji Nan fell silent, then turned sorrowfully to leave.

Yet, before she reached the door, a loud bang resounded as it slamd shut.

Everyone in the operating room jumped at the noise.

Ji Nan saw the breathless handso man before her and quickly realized who it was, exclaiming with surprise, "Young Master Yu!"

Mo Shu’s eyelids twitched, looking at the man not far in front of her; suddenly, she had an ominous premonition and shouted, "Get him out of here!"

Ji Nan instinctively moved to obey.

However, the man in front of her stepped forward faster, looking at Mo Shu with a grim expression, and asked, "What are you doing?"
