No matter how capable she was, or what high esteem Princess Mo held, when a man didn’t love her, everything she did was wrong.
Thinking this, Xiao Yuan felt much more comfortable and looked at Mo Shu with slight sympathy, asking, "This is a honeymoon destination, a place for newlywed couples. What are you doing here?"
"Of course, I’m here to spend my honeymoon." A male voice sounded from behind Mo Shu, deep and slightly displeased.
Xiao Yuan was startled and turned toward the voice, utterly shocked.
She saw him imdiately: a figure that seed to glow.
Yu Siqiao’s features had always been exceptional—tall with long legs, handso and elegant—but his cold deanor kept most people at bay.
Now, he wore a dark blue suit that matched bizarrely well with the blue dress Mo Shu had on.
Couple outfits?
But that thought was quickly dismissed by Xiao Yuan.
Impossible.
Yu Siqiao hated Mo Shu so much; it must have been Mo Shu who saw Yu Siqiao wearing that color and deliberately matched it.
It wasn’t the first ti the woman had done sothing like that.
Xiao Yuan had last seen Yu Siqiao at her marriage to Fei Helin, less than six months ago.
Yu Siqiao was rely an acquaintance of Fei Helin’s, but they shared mutual friends in the sa circle. That was why Yu Siqiao attended their wedding.
The mont Yu Siqiao arrived, he stole the spotlight from the newlyweds.
Back then, just ntioning Mo Shu’s na put a frown on Yu Siqiao’s face.
Yu Siqiao, already striking, looked even more intimidating with a sullen expression.
Whenever he spoke of her, Yu Siqiao would only say, "A clingy pest, a disgusting annoyance, cold-blooded, vicious, with a heart darker than ink."
Even in death, he wouldn’t marry such a vile woman—he wouldn’t know how he might die in his sleep!
At that ti, all the young masters laughed joyously, and Xiao Yuan just smiled. After hearing they got engaged later, Xiao Yuan knew there had to be more to the story.
However, what shocked Xiao Yuan was seeing Yu Siqiao walk over and stand next to Mo Shu, saying, "What are you doing here? I’ve been waiting for you."
His voice bore none of his usual harshness or impatience, but instead, carried a hint of hard-to-detect resignation, his eyes almost brimming with tenderness.
How could this be!
It was as if he had beco a different person!
There must be so mistake!
Xiao Yuan was perplexed and exclaid, "Is this... Young Master Yu?"
Yu Siqiao then noticed Xiao Yuan and frowned, "You are?"
She looked familiar.
Mo Shu, also seeing Xiao Yuan’s astonishnt, glanced at her and explained, "Fei Helin’s wife."
Yu Siqiao then rembered, nodding, "I’ve t you."
Xiao Yuan said, "I’ve even toasted you."
Yu Siqiao nodded, glanced sideways to see the waiter cleaning up a ss, silently pulled Mo Shu close, and said, "Let’s go, I forgot I have to take you to a prenatal check-up today. We won’t eat now. We’ll co back after the appointnt."
Xiao Yuan was stunned.
Wasn’t it said that Yu Siqiao detested Mo Shu the most?
Based on Yu Siqiao’s previous attitudes toward her, shouldn’t he rather leave her to fend for herself?
Why would he take her to a prenatal check-up?
Let alone that, but holding her, holding her?
That affectionate deanor clearly showed they were deeply in love!
Could it be that she was the only one who was miserable?
