However, while surface differences are easy to change, the cultivation that accumulates over ti is not sothing that can be altered overnight.

Yu Siqiao saw Xing ngzheng and called out, "Mom."

Mo Shu, now seeing Xing ngzheng with his own eyes, was sowhat dazzled.

Indeed, Xing ngzheng was very beautiful. Nearing fifty, she still carried herself with grace, a slender figure, and that face— one could tell right away that Yu Siqiao was her biological son, their eyes identical to each other.

The difference was that Yu Siqiao’s appearance was very aggressive—his gaze piercing when he looked at others, emanating an outbound sharpness.

In contrast, Xing ngzheng appeared much more reserved, yet still strikingly beautiful.

It didn’t take long for Mo Shu to call out, "Aunt Yu."

Aunt Yu?

Xing ngzheng, upon hearing this title, was surprised once again.

Previously, Mo Shu had been calling her "future mother-in-law."

Although Xing ngzheng didn’t quite like the title, it was, after all, a fact, and she had gone along with it.

Now, after just a month of not seeing each other, the term "future mother-in-law" had turned into "Aunt Yu."

Nevertheless, Xing ngzheng’s surprise was fleeting, and she soon replied indifferently, nonchalantly saying, "You’ve lost weight; pregnancy must be hard, right?"

This ti, it was Mo Shu who was surprised.

Xing ngzheng had never liked talking much to her, even the current polite exchange was very rare.

But Mo Shu quickly recovered, responding, "It’s not bad, now it’s just been a month, I haven’t felt much."

Sure enough, Xing ngzheng was just making small talk, she nodded and then turned to Yu Siqiao, saying, "Let’s prepare to eat."

Yu Siqiao nodded, glanced at Mo Shu, and said, "Let’s go."

Mo Shu: "..."

Sure enough, they were here to have a al.

So blunt!

As they were heading to the dining room, they happened to run into Yu Siqiao’s father.

Yu Jinggang, seeing Mo Shu, broke into a smile and said, "Mo Shu has finally co, here, let your future father-in-law take a look at you."

Mo Shu was prepared ntally, but still felt sowhat overwheld by Yu Jinggang’s familiar manner, smiling and saying, "Uncle Yu."

Yu Jinggang paused montarily when called Uncle Yu, but then nodded with a smile, "Good, good, look at you, you’ve lost weight recently. Co on, let’s talk over dinner."

"What is there to talk about during a al?" Xing ngzheng sounded sowhat dissatisfied, "If you have sothing to say, say it first before we eat."

Yet Yu Jinggang didn’t mind, chuckling, "What’s the harm? Chatting over a al helps to build rapport, right, Mo Shu, let’s go."

So Mo Shu was pulled to the table and, looking back, noticed a hint of coldness on Xing ngzheng’s face.

Mo Shu stood at the table following Yu Jinggang’s lead but did not sit down, turning to Xing ngzheng with a polite and natural smile, "We’re having dinner so soon? I’ve specifically prepared gifts for Uncle and Aunt Yu, and my bodyguard should be arriving with them soon."

’Ding-dong’

Mo Shu broke into a smile and said, "See, here they are now."

Seeing her smile, the chill on Xing ngzheng’s face softened, and she sat down, saying, "Let’s start with dinner, we can’t let the pregnant lady go hungry."

Seeing her sit down, Mo Shu then seated herself.

This detail went unnoticed by both Yu Jinggang and Yu Siqiao, but Xing ngzheng’s face once again grew a bit warr.

Yu Jinggang looked at Mo Shu and said, "Why haven’t you co to visit us recently, not even making a sound about your pregnancy? If I hadn’t sent Siqiao to pick you up, were you planning on not eting us at all?"
