After a brief stay, Qin Jiran then went away for an out-of-town film shoot. This resulted in the crew traveling all over the world.
Before departing this ti, Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi made a pact to celebrate their wedding anniversary together in about a month, and Qin Jiran made sure to notify Mike well in advance to clear his schedule.
In preparation for their wedding anniversary, Qin Jiran left the film crew a day earlier than planned and flew to R country to book a chocolate factory. There, he personally made a box of chocolates for Yanyi.
Qin Jiran considered many gifts, and while each might have been appropriate, none seed truly special. After much thought, he suddenly realized that the actual gift wasn’t important; what mattered was the sentint behind it. Then he decided to make a romantic gift for Yanyi with his own hands.
The process wasn’t difficult, as Qin Jiran had so knowledge already and had even hired a teacher to give him lessons. He quickly finished the chocolates, picked up his gift, and boarded the plane ho.
When Qin Jiran arrived at the front door of his house with the gift in hand, he suddenly felt a sense of nervousness, an emotion that had beco increasingly rare because of the confidence Yanyi’s affection had given him.
The nervousness now wasn’t from insecurity, but a little anxiety. It was their fifth wedding anniversary; they had been together for five years. Although three of those years had been like an ice age, they were mories he treasured. Without hardship in the chase, how could he appreciate the happiness that ca later? The only regret in all this ti was that they had never celebrated a wedding anniversary, especially last year when Yanyi’s pregnancy had made him neglectfully forget, which he really shouldn’t have.
"Little auntie’s husband, why aren’t you coming in? What are you thinking about here?" Xiao Su Nuo had been watching for a while and, noticing that her little auntie’s husband just stood there foolishly, approached with curiosity to ask.
Xiao Su Nuo had co over to invite little auntie to dinner but hadn’t expected to see her little auntie’s husband. Initially delighted to run over and greet him, she noticed that he seed a bit odd, standing still at the door, seemingly lost in thought.
"Nuonuo is here; let’s go inside together." Qin Jiran patted Xiao Su Nuo’s head and led her into the building.
The anniversary was the day after tomorrow, and Qin Jiran’s schedule had him arriving ho tomorrow, so no one knew he had returned the night before. Upon entering, he didn’t see Yanyi or the children. After asking the housekeeper, he learned that Yanyi was upstairs, so the pair went to find her.
Su Yanyi was reading in the nursery, while two chubby babies played on the thick plush blanket. They would lie down, then get up to crawl, and occasionally shakily walk a few steps. Their little fat bodies moved in unison, and from ti to ti, they would clumsily fall to the ground and roll halfway around, resembling round balls rolling across the floor.
When Qin Jiran entered, he saw two rolling balls, no, two babies, rolling into each other. Little Tangyuan’s small foot sohow ended up near Little atball’s mouth. Little atball seed to grimace, trying to push it away, but Little Tangyuan’s foot was quite forceful and wouldn’t budge. Little atball could only clumsily crawl away to distance himself from Little Tangyuan. No sooner had Little atball crawled a couple of steps than he was kicked in his little bottom by a chubby little foot, causing him to topple over and lie flat on the ground.
