And the three Tibetan Mastiffs appeared to be in high spirits, bounding and jumping around everyone, playing chase gas, occasionally tripping over themselves and taking a tumble. Gone was their ferocity, replaced instead by a charming kind of clumsiness.
Xiao Su Nuo was still young, and though she was playing with a whole bunch of animals at ho, Mother Su had still instructed the servants to look after them all. At this ti, Su Yanyi handed atball and Glutinous Rice Ball over to the servants to take care of them along with Xiao Su Nuo, while she and Qin Jiran settled themselves down on the bamboo chairs nearby, feeling very relaxed.
"How many days off do you have this ti?" Su Yanyi suddenly asked. Although it seed inappropriate to ask about his departure right after his return, she knew that Qin Jiran’s filming schedule was very tight and guessed he couldn’t stay at ho for long.
"About four or five days, then I’ll have to fly to Q country. All the outdoor scenes are ready there, just waiting for the crew to arrive. Mike wanted to spend more ti at ho with you guys, so he moved three days of filming, planning to shoot first the parts without ." The scheduling issues were all sorted out by Mike early on, without Qin ever needing to speak up. In this respect, Mike was indeed an excellent director, but Qin Jiran had learned a lot from Mike in other ways too, and his understanding of the profession had deepened considerably.
"Tell Mike not to rush it, actors are only human after all, and being too exhausted can affect their performance." Although Mike was very conscientious, Su Yanyi was still a bit dissatisfied. Making such tight arrangents was undoubtedly tough on the actors. Even during the few days she visited the set, she had felt this deeply. Now that they had to fly abroad for filming, the actors would probably have to endure even more hardships.
"Hehe, Mike would definitely cry foul if he heard you say that," Qin Jiran chuckled softly in the night air, a laugh that suddenly made Su Yanyi feel incredibly tender.
"Why?" Unwittingly, her voice softened a great deal, as if she were influenced by Qin Jiran, or perhaps it was the way of a couple to be dyed in each other’s colors.
"Because I’m the one in a hurry. Mike just agreed to it." While speaking, Qin Jiran took Su Yanyi’s hand and then pulled her into his embrace.
"Are you the one who’s anxious?" She had always thought it was Mike’s emphasis on efficiency that led to such a packed schedule.
"Yes, I am anxious," Qin Jiran said with a hint of emotion, as if it ant more than just being eager.
"What are you anxious about?" Su Yanyi was puzzled. The film wasn’t lacking funding, there were no other issues, nor was there any competition with other movies. Why would Qin Jiran be anxious?
"Anxious to finish and co back to spend ti with you and the child. Even though you always find fault with , I know you actually miss , don’t you?" Qin Jiran spoke these words right next to Su Yanyi’s ear, his voice as soft as if making a confession, but the questioning tone at the end gave Su Yanyi a very special feeling, as if she was being teased by him.
Su Yanyi looked up seriously at the man, as if trying to see whether he was indeed teasing her, but what she saw was his deep gaze and her own reflection filling his eyes. Then, in the next mont, his shadow drew closer and closer, and so did the distance between them.
With their breath intertwined, the mont Su Yanyi was kissed, she responded eagerly, as if she had looked forward to this kiss for a long ti.
