"Cut! That was very good, this one’s a pass, prepare for the next scene." Mike looked through the cara, very satisfied with the performance, especially Qin Jiran’s final expression which exceeded his expectations. As a Best Actor Level perforr, Jiran had undoubtedly satisfied him imnsely.

The next scene started shortly afterward, and Qin Jiran’s performance remained outstanding. Mike grew more and more pleased and, after calculating the remaining scenes, said to Jiran at the end, "We’ll probably need about five more days to finish up here. On the last day, there’s no scene for you, so how about going back earlier to see the kids?"

Mike, being half an insider, naturally cared a lot about Qin Jiran’s family matters, and, of course, the main concern was Miss Su Yanyi’s happiness.

"Hmm, okay." Qin Jiran would naturally not decline because he had been thinking about doing this for a while. It had been so ti since he had seen Yanyi and the kids, and now an idiom perfectly described his current state of mind - "He was like an arrow longing to return ho."

Five days later, after finishing the last scene here, Qin Jiran hurriedly boarded a plane back to City A. He arrived ho in the afternoon, just in ti to cook dinner. Of course, before cooking, he had to spend so quality ti with the kids, whom he had missed terribly.

"Babies, did you miss daddy?" Qin Jiran walked over to the children, holding each of their little hands in his, his gaze filled with tender love.

"Daddy!" Brother atball had a natural talent for calling people and happily called out the word "daddy," as if he recognized Qin Jiran.

Little Tangyuan, on the other hand, seed a bit cooler. She always seed a bit reluctant to call out, waiting for her brother to finish before uttering a soft "Dad."

Even so, the sound was music to Qin Jiran’s ears, filling him with happiness. The children were growing up, and now they even learned to call "daddy," which stirred pride and emotion in him as a father.

"So good, you’ve learned to call daddy, so clever." Qin Jiran revealed a brilliant smile, happily thinking to himself that if Yanyi were here at this mont, the feeling would be even more blissful.

"Ah ah!" Although they could only say "daddy" and no other words, perhaps knowing they were being praised, Little Tangyuan waved her little hands excitedly, calling out to Qin Jiran, much more actively than when she called "daddy."

anwhile, Little atball had quieted down, playing with a little toy in his hands, his eyes focused. His serene deanor was a stark contrast to Little Tangyuan’s liveliness, creating a picture of one active and one still, a sort of mutual complent.

After playing with the kids for a while, Qin Jiran went to the kitchen to cook dinner; he hadn’t told Yanyi he was coming back today, planning on giving her a surprise.

Despite being busy recently, Su Yanyi’s ti off work was very regular. After all, two little ones were waiting at ho for her, and going back early to play with the children was much nicer than facing stacks of paperwork.

But as she stepped into the house, Su Yanyi felt sothing was different. She took a couple of steps towards the kitchen, and the familiar scent that wafted to her made her eyes light up. Imdiately, she had an idea and quickly walked toward the kitchen, indeed seeing the man’s back.

The man wore an apron, holding a spoon and tasting the soup, likely judging its flavor. From Yanyi’s perspective, she could see his profile—soft, dostic, a sight that felt warm and intimate.

"You’re back." As Su Yanyi entered the kitchen, Qin Jiran already felt her presence, turning to look at Yanyi, he greeted her with the most tender of smiles.
