"Either is fine, as long as you like it." Su Yanyi had no particular opinion on the matter, knowing that a good script is one aspect, but the most important thing is that one likes it. When you like the role, you can portray it more deeply.
"Alright, I’ll take a serious look and then consider it."
The new script was titled "The Future Thirty-Nine Days," and from the na alone, one could tell that it was a movie the set in the future world, featuring ultra-advanced science and technology far beyond what modern people could imagine. Incredible existences such as chas, interstellar fleets, cosmic wars, grand scene settings, and a plot full of twists and turns captivated Qin Jiran imnsely.
As for the story, it was about an unfavored Imperial Prince who strived to ascend. With astonishing talent, relentless effort, and an undying spirit, he starts by biding his ti and hiding his skills. After a period of strenuous struggle, he stuns everyone by becoming the leader of the empire and ultimately leads all of humanity in the most grueling thirty-nine days of resistance against an alien invasion. With a goddess-like female lead and companions endowed with various talents appearing throughout the narrative, the plot, despite its ups and downs, maintains an upward trajectory, featuring heroism, making it a movie filled with positive energy.
Qin Jiran was quite fascinated, but not because of such classic and clichéd plot lines. Instead, it was the various high-tech scenes depicted within and the protagonist’s journey, which spans a great deal and tests the actor’s ttle, giving Qin Jiran a sense of eagerness to try his hand at it.
After studying it for three or four days, Qin Jiran made up his mind. He decided to follow Su Yanyi’s suggestion and start shooting the movie titled "The Future Thirty-Nine Days" first. Speaking of the na, it was quite aningful because, according to various predictions about the future, each month would have thirty-nine days. In the film’s finale, the struggle against alien invasion, conducted by the male lead with all of humanity, lasted for the most challenging thirty-nine days. Hence, the title was chosen. Although the na seems simple, both Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran were quite satisfied with it.
"Yanyi, I really like this script, but if we want to shoot all the scenes presented in the script with high quality, the cost will definitely not be low. Just the post-production needed, I’m not even sure if we can find the right candidates because the requirents are really high. But, if we don’t achieve the best, it will affect the film’s quality." After reading the script, what Qin Jiran worried most about was the technical aspect; as for funding, they truly weren’t short on money, and financing a movie wouldn’t be a problem.
"Don’t worry about that. I’ll find the best production team, and it definitely won’t affect the movie’s effects." When Su Yanyi saw the script, she had already consulted the System, and the System’s answer was that the creations of the Little Elf were written according to the existing levels of movie production, so there wasn’t too much of a gap, and they could be used with confidence.
"Great, then I’ll start assembling the crew." Reassured by her words, Qin Jiran felt at ease and even a bit excited for a mont. His expectations for the script were high, and if it could be shot successfully, it would definitely beco an internationally acclaid production. However, the excitent was fleeting, as he quickly realized that once he started working, he would beco increasingly busy and wouldn’t be able to accompany Yanyi and the babies all the ti as he could now. Thinking of this, he already began to feel much reluctance.
It’s hard to say whether Qin Jiran’s current emotions were a case of "extres et." As a child, he had a severe lack of love and never experienced the warmth of family, which made him cold and aloof. However, since being with Yanyi, he had gradually co to experience various emotions, especially now, with the strong familial love he felt when the four of them were together. He truly cherished this and wanted to indulge in it forever, no longer caring about those inconsequential matters.
