Evening gowns lined up in a row, Su Yanyi scratched her head, feeling a bit speechless. Up until this mont, she hadn’t really looked at them closely. It turned out to be a qipao, high-collared and sleeveless without showing too much leg, a light purple color that radiated nobility, elegance, and a hint of mysterious charm.
Although Qin Jiran’s outfit wasn’t a seasonally appropriate Tang suit and Hanfu or anything like that, it was quite normally a suit. However, the issue was that this suit was also a shade of purple. This peculiar color also gave Qin Jiran a headache— he couldn’t recall ever wearing a suit of this particular color before.
As for the clothes for the two chubby babies, they were also purple, identical mini Tang suits, no distinction made for gender, looking both luxurious and auspicious, which seed very appropriate.
"Cough, you’ll definitely look good in the qipao," after fretting over his own suit for a mont, Qin Jiran then turned his attention to Su Yanyi’s attire. The beautiful qipao would surely suit Yanyi. Although Yanyi had put on so weight during her pregnancy, whether it was due to her unique physique or Heaven’s special favor, she had slimd down by half over the past month and a half. "...I don’t dislike it, it’s just that the color is too flamboyant, and I’m not used to it yet. Stop snickering. I’ll wear it, okay?" Qin Jiran explained, rather bemused. He really didn’t want his mother to find out about this, and it wasn’t that he disliked it, he just wasn’t used to it.
Qin Jiran had always been accustod to keeping a low profile, as every move he made outside his ho could potentially beco the center of attention. Perhaps an occasional glance or a word could turn into a headline, which had made him used to being low-key and dressing normally, at least not in a way that would attract too much discussion. But this ti it probably wouldn’t cause any stir since they were abroad and not many people would recognize him.
"Then let’s just wear them," Su Yanyi felt less troubled seeing soone else struggling more than her. There was always soone worse off, wasn’t there? Instantly, she felt more at ease.
Then the two of them started dressing the kids. Ideally, one parent for each child would have been perfect, but the problem was that so were so clumsy they couldn’t even manage to change a baby’s clothes properly, let alone being impatient or flustered, they ended up only getting one leg of their little girl into her clothes!
anwhile, Qin Jiran had already neatly dressed his son, looking sharp, dressed up like a little boy and looking very handso indeed.
"Ah, ah!" Little Tangyuan, who wasn’t very mobile yet, suddenly beca unhappy and started crying out "ah, ah," flailing his small hands constantly in the direction of Little atball.
