Qin Jiran had been helping Father Su out recently, and he also got involved with so affairs managed by Big Brother Su. He had gained a general understanding of the Su family’s connections and power. Father Su and Big Brother Su both trusted Qin Jiran’s capabilities imnsely, allowing him to take charge of so important affairs that wouldn’t consu too much of his ti. Of course, this was mainly because Su Yanyi was pregnant. Otherwise, Qin Jiran wouldn’t have had so much free ti to accompany Yanyi.
When Qin Zhenren made his move, Qin Jiran agreed to handle the situation himself. He imdiately sent people to deal with it, suppressing the news that Qin Zhenren planned to expose. Of course, the thods used were sowhat shady, but who asked him to be the son-in-law of the underworld? With his wife being so formidable, he couldn’t fall short as a husband.
Apart from controlling the overworking newspapers that wanted to slander him, Qin Jiran also provided Dragon dia with several sensational news items about the Qin family. He currently held a nominal position at Dragon dia, as the Honorary Creative Director with no specific responsibilities but with considerable authority. This was sothing Mother Su had arranged specifically for her son-in-law so that he could better understand the company’s internal operations.
Mother Su had always intended to hand over her company to Su Yanyi. Although Yanyi hadn’t imdiately accepted the offer, she didn’t outright reject it either. After all, the dia and the entertainnt company were sowhat related. Yanyi planned to grow Splendid and then take over Dragon dia, allowing both companies to benefit each other. Now, with Qin Jiran in the picture, Mother Su also planned to let Qin Jiran take over, reasoning that her daughter and son-in-law were family, so it made no difference who took charge.
Dragon dia’s work team was highly efficient. They worked overti that very evening and, following Qin Jiran’s instructions, once again featured the Qin family on the front page of the finance section.
The next day, as the mbers of the Qin family opened the newspaper expecting to see the scandalous reports about Qin Jiran, they were shocked to be inford that the Qin Corporation was on the front page for tax evasion!
"Qin Corporation Suspected of Tax Evasion, Authorities Investigating!" The bold headline was dizzying. Qin Zhenren, Qin Zhenyi, and the others could no longer care about Qin Jiran’s news and rushed to the company straightaway.
Early in the morning, the company entrance was already surrounded by reporters, and people from the Tax Bureau, who had arrived before them, were entering the company. The officers from the Tax Bureau, dressed in uniform and holding credentials, entered Qin Corporation openly and upright. This scene was captured by many reporters, and, coupled with the news released by Dragon dia in the morning, it solidified the tax evasion story of the Qin Corporation.
Although no results from the investigation were uncovered yet, the problem was that businesses these days couldn’t withstand such scrutiny, and with the Tax Bureau making such an overt visit, it was anticipated that if they wanted to find issues, they certainly would. As a result, reporters from other dia outlets imdiately relayed this news to their superiors. Then, other dia began to follow suit and report the news. Mainstream dia were more discreet and didn’t go overboard, but so tabloids were less reserved and described the scene vividly, making it seem very likely that the Qin Corporation had problems, leading the general public to believe the news even more.
By the ti the three Qin brothers arrived at the company, the situation had escalated beyond their expectations. Unsure of where to start resolving the issue, they could only first receive the Tax Bureau investigators, then gathered together to discuss the root of the problem.
"This news was reported by Dragon dia, it must be the Su Family’s doing. Why are they doing this? Could it be that they really want to be at odds with us?" Qin Ying was the most impatient. As soon as everyone was gathered, she imdiately asked.
