Qin Jiran was almost amused by Qin Zhenyi’s attitude. What’s that saying? "A leopard can’t change its spots." This self-righteousness is a disease that needs curing!
With an indifferent glance at Qin Zhenyi, Qin Jiran couldn’t be bothered with him any longer and walked straight past everyone into Su Yanyi’s office.
Qin Zhenyi’s face turned utterly dark. At this point, if he could still tolerate this, he wouldn’t be Qin Zhenyi. He shoved aside the two secretaries before him and charged towards the direction Qin Jiran had gone, his assistant astutely clearing the way on the side.
At this mont, Kang Zhong also stepped out. Seeing this, he waved his hand, indicating for the secretaries who still wanted to intercept to step aside, allowing Qin Zhenyi to storm into the office. He adjusted his glasses and walked in as well.
Upon entering, Qin Zhenyi saw Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran looking at him with cold eyes, their gazes filled with disdain.
"Let’s talk. I have a cooperation proposal to discuss with you, which would be beneficial for both parties," Qin Zhenyi said, suppressing his anger to remain as calm as possible.
"Please speak," Su Yanyi said, since they had let him in, she decided to listen. She gestured for Qin Zhenyi to sit down and talk.
Still holding a al box, Qin Jiran frowned at this scene. What a ti to co, right at lunch? This was seriously holding things up! What Qin Jiran truly didn’t know was that Qin Zhenyi wasn’t there for lunch; he had already been waiting for over two hours!
"Better make it quick, we’re about to have lunch," Qin Jiran said coldly before Qin Zhenyi could even speak.
Qin Zhenyi almost suffocated with anger. If it weren’t for the sake of Qin’s interests, if it weren’t for the child in Su Yanyi’s womb, he would wish never to see these two again. No respect for the old or care for the young – it was infuriating!
"Qin Jiran, I am your father. Even if I haven’t raised you, I at least brought you into this world. Aren’t you afraid that outsiders will call you heartless and disloyal after they learn how you treat ?" Qin Zhenyi truly couldn’t swallow his pride, finding that he and his son simply could not get along. Their etings always ended in argunts and bitter partings, never anything pleasant.
"If I were to be born from you, I probably would’ve died a long ti ago. Do you really think you could carry in your stomach for ten months?" Qin Jiran said sarcastically. Him being born? He only provided a sperm, after all. If he really needed to carry a baby for ten months, he would have surely died early on.
Qin Zhenyi was left speechless, and Su Yanyi almost laughed out loud. That’s her man, indeed. He was well trained, his words sharper by the day.
"Alright, get to the point, five minutes, don’t waste our ti," Su Yanyi interrupted, seeing Qin Zhenyi’s almost-angry expression, not wanting to give him a chance to cozy up.
Anger piled on top of anger, frustration upon frustration, Qin Zhenyi’s forehead ached! What was he even doing here? Did he co here just to seek trouble and get upset for no reason?
Qin Zhenyi was furious, but he eventually gave in and asked what he wanted to know: "I heard you’re pregnant. How’s your health? How far along is the baby, do you know if it’s a boy or a girl?"
