Dear Her Majesty the Queen, just how petty can you be?
After hearing Su Yanyi’s words, the whole family fell into collective silence for a second before they all laughed together, except for little Su Nuo, who was sowhat dazed and didn’t understand why little auntie would make such a request.
The rry lunch passed, and then the group walked a bit deeper into the jungle. Considering the age range among them, they didn’t venture too far, content to have seen monkeys, tigers, wild boars, and crocodiles and then exited the jungle before it got dark.
Little Su Nuo was very excited, his little face all flushed. After coming out, he kept looking back at the jungle, reluctant to leave.
"If you have ti in the future, Daddy will bring you here to play again, okay?" Su Yanmo, also sowhat reluctant, could only whisper comfortingly.
"Yeah, and great-grandfather and grandma too." Little Su Nuo nodded vigorously. He really liked it here, with so many animals; it was a magical feeling as if he had entered another world.
"Yeah, we’ll all go together."
That night, everyone held a bonfire party on the beach, and so Su family mbers who were training there prepared so performances for everyone. The acrobatics were so impressive that they made little Su Nuo’s eyes widen, his small hands waving as if he wanted to perform too.
"Daddy, can Nuonuo be that cool when he grows up?" Little Su Nuo eyed the performing acrobats like they were superheroes. He dreamt of growing up to be a superhero too—front flips, backflips, side flips, 360-degree flips. Oh, it was just so thrilling!
"Does Nuonuo want to learn martial arts?"
"Yes!"
"Then when we get back, Daddy will arrange for you to start martial arts training, but martial arts training is very hard. Can you persevere?" Su Yanmo thought about how he started martial arts at Su Nuo’s age and was now considering letting little Su Nuo begin martial arts training, though it was tough, and he wondered if his son could stick with it.
"Nuonuo can do it; Nuonuo will definitely persevere. After Nuonuo becos aweso, then he can protect Daddy." Little Su Nuo waved his tiny fists, speaking very seriously and full of anticipation.
Su Yanmo felt a warm feeling in his heart and hugged his son tightly. It felt so good to have a son.
"Yanyi, you should have a child too." Su Yanmo suddenly said to Su Yanyi, feeling that the joy of having a son was so great, he wanted his most beloved sister to experience that feeling too.
Su Yanyi, who was enjoying the barbecue Qin Jiran had specially made for her, had just taken a bite when she heard her older brother say this, and really didn’t know what to say.
Was her older brother now urging her to have children too? Su Yanyi felt conflicted; having children wasn’t sothing she could just decide to do and make happen!
"Ah, little auntie is going to have a little brother for Nuonuo?" Little Su Nuo, hearing the word ’children,’ imdiately widened his eyes in anticipation and looked at Su Yanyi.
"Or maybe a little sister," Su Yanmo explained, feeling that he shouldn’t cultivate a preference for sons over daughters in his son since both a little brother and a little sister would be equally cherished.
"Ah, a little sister too? Then Nuonuo wants a little sister, a beautiful little sister." Hearing this, little Su Nuo got even more excited, bounced up, and ran towards Su Yanyi with his little legs.
"Little auntie, have a little sister, okay? Nuonuo really likes little sisters." Little Su Nuo said to Su Yanyi with blinking eyes, giving her a very bright smile.
Su Yanyi’s face remained stoic, but the corner of her eye twitched uncontrollably. Annoyed, she said, "Have your dad give birth to one."
"Huh? Can daddy have a baby too?" Little Su Nuo stared dumbfoundedly at his own father, looking at him as if he were an alien!
Su Yanmo’s eye twitched too, mirroring Su Yanyi’s expression, and he walked over to scoop up little Su Nuo, saying, "Silly child, only your little auntie can have babies, daddy can’t, daddy is a man, you’re a man, n can’t have babies, understand?"
"But, but, little auntie said it..." Little Su Nuo felt a bit wronged. Daddy called him silly, but he wasn’t silly at all. It was little auntie who said it, not him. If anyone were silly, it would be little auntie!
Thinking this, little Su Nuo sneaked a glance at Su Yanyi but dared not voice his thoughts. Little auntie’s expression was so scary; he was really afraid!
"Hahaha, it doesn’t matter who gives birth, as long as you’re willing to, we’ll all be happy." Old Master Su was the typical onlooker who enjoyed the commotion. He didn’t mind whether children ca from his granddaughter’s belly or his grandson’s.
Su Yanyi and Su Yanmo couldn’t help but glare at their grandfather together. Could they please stop talking about having kids? This was really enough!
