Su Yanyi couldn’t help herself and bit into Qin Jiran’s chest. Human flesh tasted pretty good, after all.
"You’re the one indulging in desires! If you don’t want to do it, then just don’t do it at all!" She didn’t believe that this man could actually resist!
"How could I not want to? It’s just... aren’t you tired?" He had stopped only because he was considering Yanyi’s well-being, seeing her conflicted face pondering whether or not to continue, reluctantly he stopped the movent, grinding his teeth. How could it have turned into him not wanting it? He wanted it so badly he couldn’t sleep!
"Humph!" Su Yanyi made it clear that even if she was tired, she would never admit it!
The next day, the group’s jungle trip began. Led by Old Master Su, with Little White carrying Little Golden Turtle, accompanied by a few keepers familiar with the environnt, they ventured into the jungle.
"Grandma, co look, such huge trees! What kind of trees are these?" Xiao Su Nuo was the most excited of the group, his eyes scanning everywhere. Whenever sothing new caught his eye, he’d pull at the hand of soone next to him and ask. Mother Su and Su Yanmo were protecting him from either side, providing answers when they knew them, and turning to the keepers when they didn’t. These keepers were also the protectors and observers of the jungle, most of them passionate about biological research and were professionals trained by the Su family.
Jungles, by nature, are ho to many large wild animals. Since the ancestors of the Su family established their base on this very island, they have placed great emphasis on protecting its original ecological environnt, especially this prival jungle, which is why it’s so beautiful today.
Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi walked in front of the group, to the left, which was almost like leading the way. Despite its beauty, the area had its dangers, including nurous poisonous snakes and insects. Before entering, they had all applied repellent and were dressed in camouflage that covered their skin, ready for an adventure.
"Does this count as a kind of outing?" Qin Jiran, holding Su Yanyi’s hand, asked cheerfully. Being with Yanyi, he could always experience a variety of fresh sensations, even their honeymoon destination had been a prival jungle.
Su Yanyi didn’t respond to Qin Jiran, instead focusing on a large tree not far away. A python coiled on a branch seed to be watching the group.
"There’s a python." Su Yanyi warned the group in a low voice. The accompanying keepers imdiately explained, "That’s a Green Tree Python. It’s nonvenomous and very timid. It won’t attack us proactively, so there’s no need to worry."
Green Tree Pythons are nocturnal animals and their bodies are green. If not for Su Yanyi’s sharp vision, it would be really hard to spot the python hidden among the leaves.
"What a pretty snake," Xiao Su Nuo exclaid upon seeing the Green Tree Python, instantly fascinated by its vibrant color.
"Young master, do you like it? Shall I catch it for you to play with?" Although referred to as keepers, those who could live and work in the jungle were quite capable, and they often captured various animals themselves for observation.
"Can you?" Xiao Su Nuo looked up, his eyes filled with anticipation, as he asked his dad.
"If you like it, that’s fine," Su Yanmo said, then waved his hand, and two keepers cautiously approached the Green Tree Python.
Green Tree Pythons are popular pet snakes, known for their more docile nature compared to other snakes. Still, as wild animals, the keepers only dared to handle the captured python themselves and let Xiao Su Nuo touch it. The others gathered around, not so much interested in the snake but amused by watching Xiao Su Nuo carefully touching the little python.
"Pretty little snake, you’re so nice. Don’t be scared, I’m just going to touch you for a little bit and then I’ll put you back," Xiao Su Nuo comforted the sowhat uneasy snake while carefully touching it. Although Xiao Su Nuo was small, he understood in his heart that the python belonged to the jungle and wasn’t intended to be taken ho as a pet.
