"What did my brother-in-law say? Did he say he’s going to cook? I must have heard wrong," Su Yun said, very surprised.
"If you heard wrong, then so did I," Su Jiaojiao stated very sensibly, but her eyes were similarly filled with amazent as she looked at Qin Jiran.
Qin Jiran just smiled and didn’t concern himself with everyone’s surprise as he went straight to the kitchen. He certainly didn’t want Yanyi to really go hungry.

Su Yanyi’s eyes glinted as she quickened her own pace and even whispered to Qin Jiran, "Eat quickly." With these people around, if you’re slow, you might not get enough to eat!
Qin Jiran, feeling the cheerful dining atmosphere, silently smiled and tenderly piled more food onto Yanyi’s plate, a gesture of warmth and care that didn’t escape the notice of others. They grew even more appreciative of Qin Jiran, especially the two won present who increasingly regarded him as a truly good man.
