This ti it was Su Yanyi’s turn to draw the short straw, and why did she feel like she had dug a pit only to bury herself in it!
"I didn’t bring the clothes over, you try them on first," Su Yanyi thought for a mont, then suddenly rembered the final resting place of that outfit seed to be the storeroom of their old house, and her mood imdiately brightened—since the clothes weren’t here, even if she wanted to wear them, she couldn’t!
Qin Jiran looked at Su Yanyi, then at the clothes in his hand, resigned himself to his fate, took the clothes, and went into the bedroom to change.
When Su Yanyi was making this outfit, although she hadn’t considered the idea of couple’s clothing, she had based it on the turtle outfit she once wore. It was a one-piece, primarily green with yellow embellishnts, and actually quite cute. She just wondered what the effect would be on Qin Jiran.
As Su Yanyi waited for Qin Jiran to appear, she pictured him in the turtle costu with a mischievous smile in her eyes, finding the gift-giving task increasingly amusing.
After Qin Jiran had changed and co out, he saw Su Yanyi’s sly smile. Originally, he had a straight face—not because he was unhappy but because he was too shy. It was the first ti he’d worn such an adorable outfit, and he felt uncomfortable all over.
"..." Upon seeing Qin Jiran, Su Yanyi was stunned for a second and then burst into laughter, cheerful and unabashed, a far cry from her usual aloof deanor.
"Hahaha, this is too funny! I never expected you to look like this in these clothes. It’s not just cute but, but..." Su Yanyi, laughing heartily, pointed at Qin Jiran as she tried to speak, her words interrupted by her fits of laughter.
"But what?" Qin Jiran walked over and embraced the still chuckling Su Yanyi in his arms. Although the outfit felt odd, seeing Yanyi so happy made it all worthwhile, no matter how silly he looked!
"Dorky cute, ah! Trying to act adorable with a serious face, hahaha, too funny." Su Yanyi continued to laugh rrily, leaning back into Qin Jiran’s embrace.
Qin Jiran lovingly looked at Su Yanyi—dorky cute it is then. It was a new term for him, but if it ca from Yanyi’s mouth, he would accept it.
"Wait, wait, let grab the cara to take a picture," Su Yanyi said, not satisfied with just looking; she wanted to keep the pictures to look at anyti.
Qin Jiran’s face imdiately fell. If others saw him like this, he’d be the butt of every joke! But could he refuse Yanyi’s request? Clearly, he could not!
Just yesterday, he had nearly made his wife mad enough to sleep in separate rooms, and today if he disobeyed again, he might actually have to sleep in the guest room!
Su Yanyi picked up her phone from the table and started directing Qin Jiran to pose. Although Qin Jiran made a face, he was very cooperative, doing whatever she asked until Su Yanyi was satisfied.
"Yanyi, dinner’s not made yet. Let go; I’ll cook," Qin Jiran said with a pained expression after Su Yanyi finally put her phone down.
"Go ahead, go ahead." Su Yanyi, preoccupied with the phone, stopped paying attention to Qin Jiran. She planned to save these photos and even create an album for Qin to see later.
Qin Jiran took a few steps, then hesitated and asked softly, "So, can I change out of this outfit first?"
"This is ho wear, ant to be worn around the house. No changing, keep it on," Su Yanyi responded without looking up, her attention still on her phone.
Qin Jiran felt a headache coming on, worrying that Yanyi might post the photos online. If she did, it would be best for him not to leave the house the next day! He’d definitely be besieged by reporters!
