Wei Tao arrived quickly, and Wang Zhilin’s tightly wound nerves finally relaxed a bit when she saw him.

Wei Tao furrowed his brows deeply, his expression very serious. After hearing all this, he didn’t respond imdiately. Instead, after a thoughtful pause, he said tentatively, "I think you should prepare for both outcos. If the hitman didn’t give you up, then naturally there’s nothing to worry about, but if he did, you should start preparing."
"Prepare what? How should I prepare? Tao, please help , I really don’t want to go back to that place, I’ll die!"
"...Of course I will help you, you can..." Wei Tao said every word carefully as instructed by Su Yanyi, and Wang Zhilin listened very seriously, even nodding in agreent several tis, seemingly thinking that this idea wasn’t bad.
The captured hitman evidently wasn’t the diehard desperado type. Before even arriving at midnight that day, he confessed honestly. Upon investigation, the police discovered the phone wasn’t registered, but following the bank account provided by the hitman, they quickly found traces of Wang Zhilin, and then took her away from the hospital.
When Wang Zhilin was taken away, she didn’t go quietly but acted like soone with a psychiatric disturbance, crying, shouting, and yelling hysterically, waking up all the patients in the hospital. Even the police were nearly attacked by her before they could take away the seemingly deranged Wang Zhilin.
And this spectacle was captured by many onlookers, quietly spread online, and her identity was clearly marked beneath the video, leading to much speculation.
anwhile, Su Yanyi and Qin Jiran were sound asleep, sleeping very sweetly.
The next morning, Su Yanyi woke up and then checked her phone, which showed ssages from two people. These ssages, both four words long, simply read: one said "task complete" and the other "ready for action."
Su Yanyi looked on with satisfaction, feeling it was a beautiful start and hoping Wang Zhilin would appreciate the gift she had specially arranged for her.
At the ti, Wang Zhilin had already undergone an interrogation, denying everything, not saying a word, and continuing with her hysterical screaming and causing a commotion as if wanting to disrupt the entire police station. The police seed to be genuinely intimidated by her and didn’t interrogate for too long; they just followed procedure and processed her admission into the detention center.
Just after Wang Zhilin was locked up, two more won were added to the detention center, one detained for theft and the other for brawling. Both looked like streetwise girls, seeming very accustod to such places, entering with brazen attitudes.
