When Qin Jiran took her hand, Su Yanyi’s entire body shivered, as if grasped by a block of ice. It felt genuinely chilly, and Qin Jiran, realizing his rashness, imdiately wanted to let go, only to be swiftly grasped back by Su Yanyi.
"It’s okay." Su Yanyi insisted, holding onto Qin Jiran’s hand firmly.
Su Yanyi’s hand was small, but it was warm, making Qin Jiran feel as though he wasn’t so cold anymore, even in this icy and snowy environnt.
At this mont, Guo Zekai also ran over and greeted President Su, "President Su, you’ve arrived. You didn’t notify us so I could have co to et you."
Having interacted with her quite often by now, Guo Zekai wasn’t as frightened of Su Yanyi as he was at first, but his tone still conveyed imnse respect.

What Guo Zekai really wanted to say was to get the shoot started quickly since everyone was ready. But with Queen Su present, even with a lot of courage, they shouldn’t say it outright.
Qin Jiran furrowed his brow. He clearly understood what Guo Zekai ant. There was a fighting scene left to shoot, but seeing Su Yanyi dressed sowhat lightly, he was worried that the cold might affect her. He thought about declining, but before he could say anything, Su Yanyi interrupted him.
"Go film, I’ll wait here for you." Qin Jiran understood Guo Zekai’s aning, and so did Su Yanyi. Although she was displeased, she would not delay the progress of the shoot because of her own unhappiness. After all, if it wasn’t fild now, it would still have to be fild later.
However, after hearing what Su Yanyi said, Guo Zekai breathed a sigh of relief, but Qin Jiran’s frown deepened, and he insisted, "Yanyi, you should go back to the village first. It’s too cold here, you don’t have to wait!"
Su Yanyi also frowned, her delicate yet cold face looking even icier against the snowy backdrop. Her gaze towards Qin Jiran also carried a tinge of displeasure as she equally insisted, "I’ll wait here. I’m not cold."
The standoff between the cold-faced Best Actor and the cold-faced Queen made the people around them retreat several steps with the low pressure they emitted. Many were silently chanting in their minds: This is truly terrifying!
In the director Guo Zekai’s mind, an image of two masters facing off on a snowy mountain peak erged—no words, no movents, just their gazes and auras were sufficient to kill each other! Oh, this was definitely a classic wuxia movie scene! It should be captured quickly!
Guo Zekai scanned for the photographers, then communicated with both his gaze and gestures, instructing them to record the scene.
The standoff between the two, unsurprisingly, ended with Qin Jiran’s compromise. He handed the insulated flask to Su Yanyi and said, "Drink so hot water, I’ll be done with filming quickly."
In that mont, Qin Jiran’s expression wasn’t one of helplessness, but of absolute determination. As he turned around, his eyes swept over all the actors he was performing with. That cold, almost threatening gaze sent shivers down their spines. How terrifying!
