Su Yanyi ca out of the shower to find Qin Jiran engrossed in the script. She had given him a bunch of scripts not long before, and whenever he found the ti, he would delve into them. Indeed, the quality of these scripts was quite impressive, which had made them quite irresistible to Qin Jiran.
Seeing the script, Su Yanyi’s expression flickered, and she couldn’t help but think about the System’s task. The System had upgraded, and a new task was in place—crafting a gift for Qin Jiran by hand, which was indeed a bit troubleso. Should she make another ten pairs of underwear for Qin Jiran? "I do." So Qin Jiran could only reply in a conflicted manner. Of course, he liked it, but saying it was a bit too embarrassing—receiving underwear from the woman he loved was enough to make him blush at the thought.
"Are you happy with it?" Su Yanyi thought about the last requirent from the System. As for the counter-gift, she couldn’t explicitly ask for it, but she could certainly hint at it.
"...Happy!" Too happy that words were hardly enough to express it!
"If I received a gift, I would be very happy too!" As the adage goes, troops don’t move without supplies; although she hadn’t handed out the gift yet, her hint about wanting a counter-gift was quite clear, referring, of course, to the task set by the System.
To Qin Jiran, however, that took on a different aning—this was a clear request for a counter-gift!
"Uh, I bought so things a few days ago, just not sure if you’ll like them. Shall I go get them now?" He had bought a bunch of things for Christmas, but in the end, he had given only one. The rest he had moved over today, tucked away in his closet.
Su Yanyi’s eyes lit up, and she almost agreed before she shook her head and said, "Cough cough, let’s wait a few days to exchange gifts. I need to prepare first."

After giving socks, she could give clothes, after clothes, pants, and after pants, she could give shoes. Well, she wondered if shoes might be too difficult to make, but even if shoes were a no-go, she could always gift a pair of shoe insoles—those were simple!
