The succession of system sounds left Su Yanyi sowhat dizzy, but upon careful analysis, aside from a few small additional functions, there hadn’t been many significant changes. Of course, that was mostly because she seldom used the System, causing it to frequently remind her during upgrades. For example, the extensive knowledge encompassed by the Cooking Function and dical Function could undoubtedly establish two comrcial empires, yet Su Yanyi had never paid them any mind, much to the System’s disappointnt.
However, Su Yanyi herself was quite satisfied with the upgrade changes to the System, primarily because she had few personal needs. What she truly cared about was the talent granted by the Resource Function, which she imdiately thought of taking out of the Space to hand over to Qin Jiran to see which could be useful and keep for him.
"Jiran, wait for a mont. I’ll go grab sothing," said Su Yanyi as she swiftly climbed out of Qin Jiran’s embrace, not even bothering with slippers, and scampered out with remarkable agility, leaving Qin Jiran sowhat helplessly watching her. Yanyi was always composed, so it was surprising to see such a lively side to her, like a big child.
Su Yanyi returned just as quickly as she had left, almost having taken just a short spin in the study before returning with more than ten scripts and a stack of papers. Although her expression was calm, her eyes showed expectation as she gave the materials to Qin Jiran, saying, "Take a look, is there anything you like? If you do, keep it."
Such scenes were so familiar. Looking at the multitude of scripts before him, Qin Jiran felt deeply moved. But alongside the emotion, curiosity also erged. Where on earth did Yanyi find such a variety of distinctive scripts? He hadn’t heard about any new scriptwriters at the company, and the established ones weren’t known to have any new works. Moreover, these works didn’t even carry an author’s na, which only deepened Qin Jiran’s intrigue.
"I’ll look at them closely. But where did you collect all these scripts from?" queried Qin Jiran, voicing his curiosity.
Naturally, Su Yanyi couldn’t divulge the existence of the System. After a mont’s thought, she replied, "These should be considered a prize, I suppose. I did sothing and received them as a reward."
Explaining it as a reward from completing a System Task and then receiving a complintary upgrade, Su Yanyi managed to stick to the facts. Yet this was unlikely to quell Qin Jiran’s curiosity.
