That voice was so sensually overwhelming that it was almost too much for the ears to take. That gentle tone that made one’s entire body tingle with numbness. That flavor of doting affection—Su Yanyi suddenly felt that her whole being was sowhat off kilter!

"Hmmph!" Su Yanyi let out a cold humph, yet it was filled with more airs of coyness, making Qin Jiran find her incredibly adorable.
Qin Jiran couldn’t resist kissing Su Yanyi again. His kisses, abundant and gentle, landed ticulously around the corners of Su Yanyi’s lips.
"Yanyi, don’t be mad. I’ll listen to you, I’ll listen to everything you say," Qin Jiran repeated over and over again by Su Yanyi’s ear, feeling a bit clueless on how to express his love for her. He didn’t even know how to be romantic on a date, but it didn’t matter, he had a truly honest heart to offer her, ready to do anything for her.
Qin Jiran’s murmurs right next to Su Yanyi’s ear made her not only feel a heat in her ears but also a tingling sensation throughout her body. That sensation made Su Yanyi think of her past life—when she lay on the hospital bed, unable to move any part of her body, conscious yet immobilized, while this man seemly used the sa voice, over and over, speaking beside her ear.

Why terrifying? Because she truly couldn’t imagine at what profound level of love a person must be to do such things, to be so willingly lost in soone else.
Su Yanyi didn’t understand this feeling, which is why she found it terrifying—terrifying to love soone so much that one loses oneself. But the fact that Qin Jiran was willing to do so moved her deeply, warming her once rather indifferent heart back to the warmth a normal person should feel.
Su Yanyi wanted to tell Qin Jiran that he didn’t need to change anything for her, he didn’t need to agree with everything she said. They were different individuals and should have their own opinions and thoughts. There was no need for any obligatory obedience!
But Su Yanyi couldn’t bring herself to say it out loud. She knew the reason she was willing to live with this man was not only because she trusted him deeply due to their past life connection but also because his very personality pleased her greatly. Whether it was his tolerance or his compliance, the truth was that this man was very obedient which made her feel very comfortable. Otherwise, even with the connection from a past life, she would only protect him from the shadows, allowing him to possess power but not necessarily live with him.
