Anger, unwillingness, regret, the gradually fading voices, the end of death!

Darkness, struggle, consciousness, the suddenly wide-opened eyes, the mont of rebirth!

These were eyes that held a hint of murderous intent amid their iciness, a touch of confusion within their brightness, sharp and unusually fierce, deep and serene, imnsely profound.

"I'm not dead?" There was clear disbelief in her cool voice, but even more so, an irrepressible joy, especially upon discovering that she seed able to control her body, the expression of surprise beca even more apparent.

What exactly happened? Wasn't she dead? Killed by that woman with a face full of jealousy, just monts ago, the twisted look of jealousy of that woman was still deeply etched in her mind, filling her with nothing but sympathy!

Sympathy for that woman who, despite all her scheming, could not win the affection of the man she loved, because the man she loved, loved only her, Su Yanyi, and no one else!

Thinking of that man, Su Yanyi's indifferent expression noticeably softened, but before she could dwell on it further, she noticed the strangeness of her current situation.

The slowly moving limbs were no longer stiff and uncontrollable, and Su Yanyi, who had been lying in bed in a vegetative state for two years due to a car accident, truly felt the surprise of being reborn, and this surprise was not just that. As Su Yanyi slowly but resolutely stood up, she truly felt an urge to cry!

Proud, authoritative, and ruthless, such was the woman Su Yanyi was, a queenly figure standing at the pinnacle of the entertainnt industry. If anybody claid that Su Yanyi would cry, no one would believe it.

But it was a car accident that turned Su Yanyi into a vegetable. Apart from her family and that man, everyone was gloating over her misfortune, as if thinking she had no consciousness at all, or perhaps believing she would never wake up again. They revealed all sorts of ugly behavior in front of her hospital bed, spouting incredibly malicious words.

Whether it was sothing she had done, or things completely unrelated to her, it seed at that ti she was the sinner of the entire world; everyone's dissatisfaction was due to her mistakes, and all their hatred demanded she pay the price, which was both despicable and laughable!

At that ti, she had sworn that if she could ever wake up, she would ensure that everyone who wronged her tasted the consequences, especially those few who joined forces to harm her; she would not let any of them go!

Wake up? So, had she now awakened? Could it be that the woman hadn't killed her after all? Su Yanyi thought uncertainly, but soon she noticed many oddities.

The place that t her eyes was very familiar; it was her ho, her bedroom, or to be more exact, her forr ho, her forr bedroom. This was where she and that man had lived for three years, but ever since she and that man divorced, she had never returned.

Qin Jiran, her nominal ex-husband. Their marriage was only a transaction; she once thought it was rely a transaction, yet only after becoming vegetative did she realize how deeply he loved her.

Having been a vegetative for two years, aside from family and servants, it was only that man who stayed by her side faithfully, looking after her, even though they had already divorced, and even though her consciousness was muddled all the while, his form was still deeply engraved in her heart.

At that ti, she had also vowed that if possible, she would repay this man's deep affection, that even if not with love, she would do all in her power to ensure his lifelong well-being.

So now here she was, but where had that man gone? And how did she co to be back here?

With doubts, Su Yanyi very cautiously walked out, her gaze sharply scanning her surroundings; then, she suddenly stood frozen in place.
