When he woke up the next day, Sophie was no longer by Lin Mu’s side. There was a little note on the bedside cabinet, with a ssage she’d left for him, telling him not to forget to eat after he got up, that breakfast was already prepared in the restaurant downstairs, and that she’d gone to work.
Lin Mu looked at the note and smiled, slowly savoring everything from last night. The madness of last night was really sothing a man could get addicted to.
Seeing that it was getting late, Lin Mu shot a glance at the ti, got dressed, washed up, and then casually went downstairs for so breakfast.
He had just finished eating when Su Xiaowan walked in.
"Brother Lin, the president wants you to go over after you’ve eaten," Su Xiaowan said.
"Got it, I’ll head over right now." Lin Mu nodded, got up, and walked out of the restaurant.
When he got upstairs, Sophie was sitting on the sofa, drinking coffee. As soon as she saw Lin Mu walk in, a faint blush crept over her face. She had never imagined she would go as crazy as she did last night, like she’d been possessed or sothing, and even now Sophie couldn’t help but savor that feeling a little.
"Hey, Feifei, you look even prettier today!" Lin Mu chuckled.
"As if. Even if I were going to get prettier, it wouldn’t happen that fast, right?" Sophie said. This brute really didn’t know how to complint a woman. Normally you say that line when you haven’t seen soone for days.
"Uh... I’m being serious here. If you don’t believe , ask Xiaowan." Lin Mu grinned, baring his teeth.
Su Xiaowan glanced at Lin Mu, then said to Sophie, "President, you really have beco even prettier."
"Xiaowan, how co you’re standing on the sa side as this bad guy now?" Sophie asked with a smile.
"President, I’m telling the truth. You’ve beco, hmm, more of that mature-woman vibe now, and even more elegant. Anyway, there’s just this kind of magic about you that draws people in," Su Xiaowan said.
Sophie could catch the aning behind Lin Mu’s words, and couldn’t help the flush that spread across her cheeks. She was the business queen of Wancheng; she’d almost never blushed before—basically never.
"Alright, let’s drop this topic. Let’s talk about the important matter!" Sophie quickly changed the subject, her little face already burning up. They really couldn’t keep going with this. She didn’t have a hide as thick as this brute Lin Mu!
"What important matter?" Lin Mu asked.
