Now that they would be separated that chance of ever happening was now extrely low.

His plan is to let Leafinia absorb the last bit of energy the tree of life has this massive tree of life is at least a million years old that ans it survived since the golden ti of this continent.

When he arrived at the location of the tree of life he saw Leafinia sitting besides it having her palm touching it.

Plants love sunlight and yang Qi is extrely beneficial to them with Leafinia being a spirit of a tree of life of course Shadowslash’s yang Qi is beneficial to her.
As she absorbed the energy she lets out a moving moan causing Shadowslash to flinch as his eyelid started twitching.
He then calms himself down but he did not take a deep breath knowing that it would only cause his emotion to disarray.
He then keep in tabs of Sans as he wanted to know if the elves finally manage to disembark the island.
Because Sans and the others operated in an orderly manner the whole process was smooth it only took them an hour to take all the elves out of the island.
Once they were out of the island Shadowslash told Leafinia that she could stop hearing his voice in her mind Leafinia opens her eyes as she let go of the tree of life.
Suddenly the whole island started vibrating as the tree of life starts to glow in greenish light then without warning it disappears and beca a flash of light that flew towards the flower of life on Leafinia’s head.
With a swoosh Leafinia fainted as the flower of life in her head starts to shine brightly and her weaken aura started to recover in rapid pace.
Without the support of the tree of life the whole island finally sunk into the bottom of the sea.
Shadowslash saw that the island was already in a state of destruction and the only thing that holds them together was the tree of life.
It seems that there was a war before and the island of the elves also suffered from this war.
Because the ancient elves wanted to preserve this island they had sacrificed their tree of life saving the island and everything in it.
But they definitely did not predict a couple of years in the future their island would be destroyed by the Necromancer Association and the Orc Empire.
Shadowslash carried Leafinia in his arm as he flew towards his boat when he landed inside he saw the elves were looking at the sinking island with great sadness.
All of them were crying as they started to get away from the island the elves started to return to their respective room that the workers inside the boat would assign them.
When the elf queen turns back he saw Leafinia being carried by Shadowslash she was imdiately startled before running besides her with worry etched on her face.
The elf elders were also worried since they revered Leafinia as a spirit of tree of life she was also the reason why their group manage to leave the island safely so they felt indebted to her.
Shadowslash reassure them “Don’t worry she wasn’t hard on the contrary she received a blessing from your tree of life maybe when she wakes up her strength would even reach mine”
All of those that heard this were shocked Shadowslash then carried Leafinia back to his room and sealed the room with his spiritual sense barrier so that nobody would bother her.
Feeling a bit naughty Shadowslash dived to the sea and approached Gulli and told her about the blessing Leafinia have received.
And just like what he had thought Gulli beca depressed once more Shadowslash laughs he actually wanted Gulli to suffer a bit since he was jealous of him.
He then told him that Sans also absorbed a remnant of Transcendent Qi into his personal secret realm and once he ca out maybe his strength would once again rise.
Gulli beca more and more depressed listening but in his mind he started thinking on training a sword technique perfect for him.

Suddenly Shadowslash beca quiet he then sighed and spoke “Gulli there is another thing I forgot to tell you”
He beca hesitant but after a while he sighed and said “I cannot bring you with in my travel towards other continents”
Gulli beca stunned he then looks at Shadowslash in a rather dazed manner.
Shadowslash quickly explains “Not because I do not need but because you are really important when I leave I need soone to protect my kingdom no our kingdom and you are the strongest mber of our family so you are the most suited for this task”
Gulli started to feel complicated he was upset that he couldn’t co with Shadowslash but he was also happy to hear that he was extrely important to him.
Shadowslash did not add anything he just patted Gulli’s back before flying back to the ship.
He had picked this decision because he rember the scene where the island of the elves were falling apart.
