After storing the Ancient Jewel Scarabs Shadowslash took 1,200 orcs and monster corpses in Hentai’s storage and transfer them into the space ring.
Since the Ancient Jewel Scarabs evolve through eating then eating one hundred high quality corpses would imdiately make them undergo an evolution.
Hopefully that is, since Shadowslash don’t know how much he needs to feed them to make them undergo an evolution.
Leaving the Deathly Forest he walks towards the refining battlefield knowing Sans he knew that he was watching the undeads fight each other for supremacy.

When he arrived in front of the Refining Battlefield he was shocked to see there were nurous undeads lining towards the Refining Battlefield.
And judging from their action they are voluntarily going inside without being ordered by anyone.
All the undeads were Mid-class undeads and there isn’t a single low-class undead on the line.
There were Headless Knights supervising the line and guarding the Refining Battlefield and there are also so orc zombies that were acting like guards standing and pressuring the undeads.
The undeads in front of him were like humans if it weren’t for their lifeless expression this would be like an gathering event.
Shadowslash finally had an idea why Sans was remodeling the Undead Graveyard to one that looks like a human village.
Using his illusion he smoothly entered the Refining Battlefield when he got inside he saw that other than the arena there are now viewing seat arranged around the arena.
The walls that was separating the two is extrely high there are also so kind of defensive rune embedded in the walls.
In the highest and center of the arena Sans was sitting like an emperor watching the undeads tear each other apart.
Besides him were his generals Nightmare was sleeping underneath him.
Undeads sleeps by decreasing the power of their soul this would be like a rest to a human since this would recover the exhaustion of their soul power.
Their soul flas would beco dim and their aura would be restrained judging from Nightmare’s action he wasn’t sleeping because he was resting he was sleeping because he is bored.
In the arena there were exactly one hundred undeads and all of them were mid-class they were fighting each other and a mystifying aura was spreading in the arena trapping the energy from the deceased undeads.
The undeads that would be destroyed would turn into ashes and their soul power would be gathered and flows towards to the nearest undead or the undead that destroyed it.
Shadowslash attention quickly reverted back to Sans as there isn’t anything interesting in the fight the undeads were fighting purely based on their instinct unlike the 10 mid-class undeads back on Howling Ridge.
Sand did not even realised that he was there even though he has great perception in sensing living and non living beings.
The reason for this is the Transcendent energy he used to operate his illusion once he arrived in front of the Refining Battlefield.
He wanted to test if it could illude Sans and the result left him satisfied.
Approaching Sans and his subordinates none of the undeads managed to noticed him and even when he reached where Sans is he was still undetected.
Suddenly he had an idea he approached Sans and asks near his ear “Which of the undead do you think will win?”
Like a cat that has his tail stepped on Sans imdiately jumps forward and raised his spear the other undead generals also quickly took out their weapon and just as they were about to attack him he waves his hand and an oppressive spiritual sense binds them in their places.
Sans was surprised at first but seeing it was Shadowslash he quickly stood up and cups his fist “Master you are here”
Hearing this Shadowslash smiled and dispel his spiritual sense and nods at Sans.
He then complinted him “I have been looking around the Undead Graveyard and noticed the undeads were working and changing the place into an undead village”
“At first I thought it was just a waste of ti but seeing how the other undeads act like they are human beings I have to say you have done a great job as long as more undeads get smarter then your influence and power would increase”
Sans nodded “Yes this is what I and Glasses thought so too but it would still take so ti for the other undeads to gain basic intelligence but at least so of them already have”
Suddenly he turned silent as if he was struggling about sothing.
Seeing this Shadowslash couldn’t help but frown and asks “Is there any problem you could asks for mine and the other’s help”
If Sans with the help of Glasses were having trouble about sothing then it would definitely be a troubleso problem.
Sans struggled for another 10 Seconds before finally speaking “I need Master’s help to open a portal from here and the undead land back in Safehaven Paradise”
Shadowslash was startled he thought it was a troubleso task because Sans was struggling but he was actually just struggling because he was shy and embarrassed to ask for his help.
He couldn’t help but laugh as he spoke “I thought it was sothing troubleso but it was just this don’t worry I’ll just create a place or a realm inside the Draconic Sanctuary for your use only”
Sans quicky bows his head thanking him repeatedly Shadowslash just shook his head bitterly as Sans was still the sa even though he is already considered a king himself.
He quickly changed the subject “Enough of this I have ca here because I have sothing to ask of you”
He then told him about the ten mid-class undeads and how they act he also wanted him to help them evolve or just their leader into a high-class undead so that his plan on buildinga fortress around the demonic dragon door would be hasten.
Sans was quite shocked to hear about the ten mid-class undeads he would never have thought the ten undeads he randomly picked before he and Shadowslash left would actually improve this much.
After hearing about the demonic dragon door, about Scarlet and Shadowslash’s plan in building a fortress in the Howling Ridge Sans was quite surprised.
He also swore to make the 10 mid-class undeads in the Howling Ridge evolve into high-class undeads all of them to be precise Shadowslash picked them as the spearhead of the fortress building plan so he need to make them as strong as possible.
After discussing about the plan of the fortress building plan around the demonic dragon door with Sans Shadowslash asks the next question in his mind.
With a wave of his hand the dozen Ancient Jewel Scarabs appeared they were a bit bigger than before and their shell is much more luscious.
Shadowslash expression beca happy even though the Ancient Jewel Scarabs did not evolve after devouring a large amount of corpses they manage to level up and the strongest one of them is actually in Gold Rank Level 10.
The weakest one of them were Gold Rank Level 5.
They are still in the process of molting and evolving that is why they look like jewels not living being not moving an inch.
Sans looks at the 12 Ancient Jewel Scarabs on confusion he didn’t know why Shadowslash presented with these 12 jewelries.
Sensing Sans’s confused emotion Shadowslash laugh and said “These 12 bug shape jewels aren’t object but living being”
Sans was shocked but not matter how he looks at them they don’t emit any aura that a living being or even anything that resembles them as creatures.
Shadowslash laugh a little louder than usual he realised that even he couldn’t differentiate the Ancient Jewel Scarabs from an object.
He then looks at Sans who was still busy examining one of the Ancient Jewel Scarabs seeing this he knew that he would definitely fail to find anything that could differentiate the Ancient Jewel Scarabs from dead objects.
Realising this he told Sans what they truly are “They are Poisonous Corpse Eating Scarabs that you put in that forest of yours”
Sans was once again surprised he couldn’t but look at the Ancient Jewel Scarabs in his hand he couldn’t help but mumble “These are the 12 ferocious insects that I captured”
Shadowslash heard his mumbling and nodded as he explained “Yes they are the Poisonous Corpse Eating Scarabs you have found or more accurately the Ancient Jewel Scarabs”
Sans hand trembled when he heard the na of the insect in his hand of course he have read about the legend and horror of the Poisonous Corpse Eating Scarabs.
