Chapter 1060: CHAPTER 1029 ASCENDERS
Seeing the huge swarm of insects from the Outer World flying towards him, Shadowslash was still unfazed, he started glowing with bright golden light, he could use the flas of the phoenix but since these monsters are weak against solar energy, he will show them what the flas of the sun are like.
Boom! His entire body was set ablaze, his size started growing bigger and finally, he looks like a behemoth walking in a tiny world, even though this size would make it impossible for him to dodge the attacks of his enemies, he does not care.
He punches towards the incoming swarm not caring for any hint of defense, if they want to devour him, he will let them experience pain.
Boom! His one attack instantly killed ten thousand or so Outer World creatures, the surviving ones that managed to escape in ti were still set ablaze and they are currently being burned alive.
Law Of Destruction! He increased his power not caring if this plane gets destroyed by his reckless action.
Boom! Another explosion occurred and a giant hole was carved into the surface of this plane, just as he was about to continue attacking, three black rays were shot towards him and he was blown away.
He turned towards three beings, one that looks like a humanoid octopus, another one that seed to not have any physical or distinct form and the last one was just an insect that has multiple eyes surrounding its giant mouth.

‘Ascending Divine Rankers’ He thought, he might be able to take on Descending Divine Rankers in his current state but higher than that, he would not be able to take one of them head on.
He stood up and decreased his size, he was still as bright as ever but this ti, he is going to focus on dodging.
That is his plan but reality slapped him hard, the humanoid octopus disappeared and when it appeared, it was already beside him, he was blown towards a nearby ruined mountain.
Boom! He was buried deep within it, he felt his body aching, even with his elental form, that attack actually still dealt physical harm.
Ten rays of black beam were shot towards him, his expression changes as he tried to escape but the humanoid octopus once again appears in front of him.
Nitoryu, Mayonaka no tatsumaki (Two Swords Style, Midnight Tornado)
He spun creating a tornado made out of sword Qi and Yang Qi, he then flew up but a shocking thing happened.
A slimy black hand broke through the tornado and grabbed him, if it were not for the fact that he managed to change his form in an instant, he would have been captured.
The humanoid octopus was furious, he gripped his trident tightly and threw it at him, Shadowslash sensed that the trident had locked on him, he cannot escape it.
He decided to et it head on, he swung his sword with his Law Of Destruction and the two attacks collided.
Lunar Fang!
Bang! Sparks flew but Shadowslash was clearly at the losing side, he spat out blood as the force of the trident ruptured inside his body.
Bam! He was hit by a hamr just as he was being blown backward by the collision, the beams that the mutant bug that had thrown curved and chased after him.
Skree! A cry that was extrely clear and lodious could be heard, suddenly, the cold and dark surroundings beca incredibly bright and a srising rainbow coloured fla descended on the battlefield.
Roar! A domineering dragon roar then sounded out, a dragon breath was thrown in the path of the black beam and with an explosion, the two attacks cancelled each other out.
The explosion destroyed the surrounding island and any form of land in the area, just like Shadowslash’s attack, a deep hole was created.
“Vile beings of the Outer Worlds, Dare to take on soone on your level?! I, the Great Dragon Lord, forr ruler of the Divine Dragon Clan will take you all on!”
Skree! another cry could be heard but this ti, it was not as pleasing as the first one, this ti, it was sharp and strong.
“You old b*stard! Leave one for , now that the sun is present in the sky, I could finally show these weaklings why our Mighty Golden Crow Clan is feared!” A golden crow with three legs appears and imdiately swoops down towards the mutant insect.
Shadowslash was now losing consciousness but after absorbing a pure and high quality energy, he started recovering rapidly, enough for him to stay conscious.
He opened his eyes and saw the Ascending Divine Ranker of the Graceful Phoenix Clan, she smiled at him and spoke “I am grateful for your return, continue on what you are doing, we will hold as long as we can.”
He nodded and forced himself to stand up, his entire body was aching but fortunately, his clones were giving him unlimited energy by absorbing the energy of the opponents they have slain.
He raised his head and let out a roar, his Origin Form then dissipates and he falls to the ground, Banjo appears and manages to catch him before he could fall to the ground.
A golden world filled with flas appears in the sky, it was not as great as the sun but all the fire type beasts were affected by its power and received an additional enhancent.
Shadowslash forced himself to not faint, he started speaking “Banjo, bring back to the base, also, tell Leafinia to bring her disciples or high ranking mbers of her church in this world, we are going to expel these b*stards out of this plane.”
Banjo nodded but inwardly, he was planning to have Erald be the one to inform the people of Gaia, he cannot leave his big brother in his current state.
Shadowslash was now repairing his body, Athyst helped him but because her power is now restricted, her assistance is quite negligible.
Creating a backup system for the physical body has taken quite a toll on her, she needs to recuperate for the ti being.
Banjo went and killed multiple Saints of the Outer World army, Shadowslash is now staying in the forest that Erald had created, under the protection of his clones, Russel and Erald.
He returned carrying the carcasses of ten Saints, he then fed them all to Shadowslash but he did not know that the drawback of the [Origin Form] is much greater than he had thought.
Shadowslash was still not recovering, his body is convulsing because of pain and the reaction of his Behemoth body from becoming a much higher being.
‘I need to let this body heal!’ He imdiately realised that if his Behemoth body does not return to the Giants Plane, it would explode, he quickly split with it and it returned to its original form.
He turned to Banjo but he shook his head and said “I know what you want to say big brother but I cannot bring it to myself to just leave you in your current state.”
He could only smile bitterly, seeing just how determined he is, he knew that he cannot persuade his brother.
He sighed and could only look at his friend, Erald sighed and said “The progress of the forest is reaching its optimum range, I cannot leave it.”
Shadowslash also was not capable of controlling his clones masterfully via cross worlds, unless he focused on one of them but with his current state, this is extrely dangerous.
Russel broke the silence “We will just need to wait for France to return, with his speed, I think that it would not take long.”
Everyone agreed to this, Don Don raised his hand and asked “What about , I could return.”
Shadowslash shook his head “If it was before Karl is now in his current state, I would not mind but now that your brother is now in his vulnerable state, you are the most suitable general to lead my clones.”
Don Don could only sigh feeling useless, Banjo then added “By the way, the reinforcent had arrived, when I got to the location of the Vulcan Bear Clan territory, their island was no longer present in this plane.”
Shadowslash could only sigh in sadness, he could not help but feel guilty for not being able to help their ally “Are there any news regarding their clan?”
Banjo nodded “It seed that the Graceful Phoenix Clan had accepted them as their subordinate, it might sound deaning for such a powerful clan to beco just re subordinates but because of this reason, they managed to survive this war.”
Shadowslash heaved a sigh of relief “Thank goodness, it seed that we owe the Graceful Phoenix Clan quite a lot.”
Erald cuts off their conversation “If I may intervene, I think that you have already paid them back, more than enough actually, you would be the main reason why this plane managed to survive.”
“Of course, this will only beco a fact if we manage to win this war.”
