Anita was still caught up in the awkwardness of the mont. She hadn’t expected Jack to suddenly ask her a question. "I’m sorry," she said, stunned. "I didn’t hear what you just asked."
Jack looked at Anita and wanted to reach out and touch her head, but this action was really inappropriate, so he said helplessly, "Why are you always distracted? I’m asking you when you’ll co to the laboratory tomorrow."
"Tomorrow. I applied for leave from my ntor. I need to rest for the next two days," Anita said after thinking for a while.
"You’re taking two days off because you’re going sowhere? With your husband?" Jack asked Anita.
"Yes, the two of us are going out to play for two days." Anita was still not used to Jack’s aggressive attitude from ti to ti.
Jack also felt that sothing was wrong with his words, so he tried to relax and then asked, "Where are you going?"
"A resort villa. I’m not too sure about the details." Anita didn’t go into too much detail and only briefly explained.

"Okay, then you better get back," Jack said while trying to keep his face straight.
"Good. Then you should get back early, too. Bye," Anita said, then took a few quick steps toward where Owen had parked.
As soon as Bentley got into the car, Owen ca up and gave her a hug.
Jack, who was standing at the school gate, saw this action. His mood imdiately started to fall. He had thought a lot these two days and finally figured it out.
He felt that even if Anita was married, it didn’t an that he didn’t have a chance. However, he didn’t expect the huge difference between him and Owen. He couldn’t help but wonder if he was too naive.
"Owen, what are you looking at?" Anita said while reaching out to shake Owen.
"Nothing. By the way, Anita, why did your experint end so late today?" Owen said suddenly.
"Well, my lab partner wasn’t here. There’s so work I needed to do for him," Anita said while looking at Owen.
Owen nodded at Anita’s words and didn’t say anything else. Then, he started the car and drove ho.
Along the way, Owen didn’t speak again, and Anita felt that sothing was wrong with the atmosphere. She wanted to ask, but she didn’t know what to ask. She thought it was because Owen was under too much pressure at work today.
Owen, who’d been driving, wasn’t in a good mood either, because he’d just spotted a very handso and very young guy talking and laughing with Anita.
Even after Anita got into the car, he saw the boy still standing at the school gate.
In that instant, he suddenly felt a sense of danger. There was a difference in age between him and Anita. He didn’t know if he could satisfy her requirents for a mate.
And he suddenly felt that he did not know how to ask about the relationship between the boy and Anita.

"Owen, are you and Anita still not up? Didn’t you agree to co to my resort today?" Owen woke up from his nap as he listened. He rembered that he and Anita were going on a vacation today.
Hence, he hurriedly said, "I’m sorry, Uncle Bieber. I worked overti too late yesterday. We’ll pack up and go over imdiately."
"It’s fine. Young people are under a lot of pressure. We can understand. You can just call when you get there," a vigorous male voice said with a smile.
When the line went dead, Owen glanced at his phone, then turned back to Anita. "Anita, get up. We agreed to go on vacation today."
