"Be careful, sweetheart." Owen didn’t bother to rub his forehead. Afraid she was hurt, he quickly went to check Anita first. "What are you doing?" he asked nervously without realizing how suggestive his words had been.

"I... I’m fine. Why are you calling that?" Anita asked with a blush as she rubbed her forehead.

"What I called you? Is that the word sweetheart? I won’t call it that again if you don’t like it." Owen suddenly realized that maybe Anita minded him calling her that, so he quickly said.

She could only look at Owen and say speechlessly, "You... do whatever you want." Anita didn’t know what to say when she heard Owen’s answer. He really had the mindset of a straight man. Who asked girls this so directly?

Owen didn’t know what she ant by whatever, but at that mont, he seed to have gotten the hang of it. "Be good. I’ll go make dinner first. You can rest a while. I know I tired you out last night."

Anita blushed even more at Owen’s words. "What are you talking about, Owen? Get out of here."

Owen watched as Anita reached out to hit him. He quickly got dressed and went downstairs. "Good girl. I’ll call you when the food is ready."

Anita didn’t reply, but buried her head deeper under the covers.

After Owen got out of bed, he looked at the ti. It was almost twelve o’clock, and he still had to go to the company in the afternoon, so he opened the fridge and took two eggs and a few vegetables to make vegetable egg noodles.

In fact, he really didn’t want to cook such a light al for Anita. It was just that his own culinary skills were really limited, and the refrigerator’s ingredients were limited.

While thinking, he washed and cut the vegetables. Then, he beat the eggs in the bowl and stirred them. Then, he heated the pot. After stir-frying the eggs, he stir-fried the vegetables briefly and poured the hot water that had been boiled beforehand into the pot.

He could sll the fragrance as soon as the pot was boiled. When Owen slled it, he started to feel pretty good about his cooking skills.

The vegetable noodles were made quickly. After pouring the noodles out, Owen quickly went to the room to call for Anita.

"Let’s eat. Dinner’s ready." Owen pushed open the door to the room to see that Anita wasn’t on the bed. He walked back into the room and heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom. Afraid that Anita wouldn’t hear him, he amplified his voice.

Except he didn’t expect Anita to open the door and co out of the bathroom as soon as he finished speaking. Owen imdiately felt awkward. He should have known better than to be so loud.

But Anita didn’t think anything of it. "Let’s go. I’m done."

With that, she headed for the kitchen, and Owen followed.

"It’s vegetable noodles. Don’t mind it. I’m not a very good cook." Owen saw that Anita was staring at the two bowls of noodles on the table without saying anything, so he spoke first.

"No, I think it’s great," Anita said and sat down in her seat.

"Try it and I’ll take you out for dinner soti tonight," Owen said while taking the chopsticks over and handing them to Anita.

"Thank you." Anita took the chopsticks and didn’t say anything else. Both of them started eating without any reservation. They had consud a lot of energy last night, so when they ate these vegetable noodles, they felt that it was really delicious.

At the end of the al, Anita realized that there was an egg at the bottom of her bowl. She had clearly just seen that there was only one egg in both their bowls, but she didn’t expect there to be another at the bottom of her bowl.

Anita looked up at Owen without saying anything.

"What’s wrong? Why are you looking at ? Are the noodles not delicious?" Owen said in confusion.

"Owen, thank you," Anita, suddenly very happy, said. She smiled at Owen.

Owen was confused by Anita, but when he saw her smile, he felt like nothing else mattered.

The simple vegetable noodles were eaten clean by the two of them. After breakfast, Owen quickly washed the dishes and hurried to change his clothes.

"Are you going to school this afternoon, Anita? I’ll walk you first." Owen asked as he stood at Anita’s door after changing and holding his tie.

"Yes, go. My ntor sent a ssage saying that he has an experint to communicate about with ." Anita had also changed her clothes and said to Owen, who was standing at the door of her room with a tie.

"Good, then we can go together," Owen said while taking a few more steps into Anita’s room. He smiled.

"Anita, do you want to help with my tie?" Owen asked again as he walked into Anita.

Anita didn’t say anything. She nodded. In fact, she had wanted to since she saw Owen standing at the door with his tie.

Owen bent down a little to make sure Anita was close enough, then smiled and motioned for her to start.

It wouldn’t be true to say that Anita had never tried to tie soone’s tie before. After all, she had had a boyfriend. Sotis. Eric went to see important singers or music companies, and sotis, he might let her tie his tie.

But at this mont, Anita felt like she had forgotten all about it. She fumbled around Owen’s neck with the tie, but she couldn’t tie it properly.
