Anita saw the aggrieved look on Zoey’s face and hurried to catch up. "Zoey, that’s not what Owen ant. Don’t think too much. I’ve accepted your apology."

"Yes, I know, Anita. Go back. I’ll be fine." Zoey thought Owen would chase after her, but she didn’t expect Anita to. For a mont, she was disappointed, but she still pretended to be sad.

Anita looked at Zoey, whose eyes were still red, and didn’t know how to comfort her. She could only nod. "Okay, then go back and rest."

"Yes." Zoey didn’t linger and turned to hurry away, because she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to control the expression on her face. She felt like Anita was showing off and flaunting how much Owen liked her.

Zoey stomped her feet even more angrily. She didn’t understand why Owen, who hadn’t had a girlfriend for so many years before, would suddenly get married to a woman who was completely unworthy of him.

"How is it? Has Zoey returned to her room?" Owen asked Anita, who had returned to the banquet hall.

Anita glanced at Owen’s look. "Well, let’s go back. Do you actually care why Zoey just said that? You didn’t see that the young lady’s eyes were red."

"Forget it. I’ll go see her later. You don’t know she’s been unruly since she was young. If I don’t really show anger, she won’t recognize her mistake." Owen saw that Anita seed to be blaming him a little, so he explained a little more.

"Owen, Anita, co here." Mr. Jacob waved them over.

"Dad," Owen called out as he walked over.

"Your mother, Anita’s parents, and I will go back tomorrow morning. There’s a lot of work waiting for us to handle. Just have a good honeymoon with Anita here," Mr. Jacob said with a smile.

"Daddy, Mommy, you guys are going back too?" Anita asked her parents, who were standing beside her.

"Yes, I’m almost healed. I need to take care of the shop at ho. Your mother and I have to hurry back," Anita’s father said to Anita.

"Owen, I’ll leave my daughter to you. She has a lot of shortcomings, but she’s also our precious daughter. Since you guys chose to get married, I hope you can treat her well from now on."

Owen looked at Anita’s father and nodded solemnly. "Don’t worry, Dad. I’ll be good to Anita."

"That’s good. It’s been too tiring today, let’s go back to our room first," Mr. Jacob said.

"Okay, I’ll send you guys off." They were all happy today, so they all drank a lot. Owen, who was worried, went forward and helped Anita’s father.

"O... okay." Co on, let’s go. Mr. Jacob had drunk a lot too. His voice was even louder now. If Mrs. Sylvia hadn’t pulled him, he would have drunk even more.

After they sent everyone back to their rooms, Owen and Anita returned to their rooms.

The mont the two of them entered, they collapsed in the living room.

"Haha, so you’re not so composed all the ti," Anita said with a smile as she looked at Owen, who was slumped on the sofa.

For the first ti, Owen didn’t feel angry at being teased. In all these years, since Mia had left, he hadn’t felt so close to anyone.

And it seed to be the first ti he had experienced the feeling of soone talking to him at ho with him after a busy day. "This feels really good," Owen thought.

"What? Is there a rule saying that I can’t lie on the sofa? I’m really tired. Let’s leave composure aside for the ti being." Owen relaxed and spoke casually.

"Well, I feel like this is the real you," Anita said suddenly.

Owen was stunned. Was this the real him?

"Really? It’s late. Let’s sleep," Owen suddenly said as he stood up and walked straight to his room without waiting for Anita to reply.

He had never thought about how he really was, but he couldn’t deny that it seed like every ti he was with Anita, she seed to change him. Owen thought as he stood under the hot shower.

Anita dawdled back to her room. Even after she washed up, she felt a little vexed. She didn’t know how much her words had affected Owen. She had that feeling and said it naturally.

"Owen, are you asleep?" Anita thought about it and decided she had to at least explain that she didn’t an anything else.

"Owen, are you in your room?" Anita knocked on the door twice but there was no response. She thought Owen had gone to bed and was going to go back to her room.

The door opened with a bang. "What is it?" Owen asked while standing in the door in his bathrobe.
