"No... No, Mr. Cole. It’s just that my friend called over for sothing. I’ll handle it." Anita moved her body and tried to stay away from Cole.
"What friend? Is it Brownie, who you just ca in with, or Owen, who just left? You’re quite sothing." Cole leaned closer to Anita.
"Your figure is amazing," Cole said with a sigh as he looked at Anita.
When they had a eting a few days ago, Cole knew that Anita had a great figure.
When Anita appeared with Brownie today, Cole could not take his eyes off her.
"Mr. Cole, don’t talk nonsense. I’m friends with them. Please show so respect." Seeing that Cole was getting more and more out of line, Anita replied angrily.
"Really? It doesn’t matter. Just sit down and let’s have a drink or two." Cole reached out and pressed Anita into her seat.
"Owen will co over later after he’s done. It’s a little inappropriate for you to be here." Anita saw that Cole’s actions were becoming more and more unrestrained, and she had no choice but to ntion Owen.
When Cole heard about Owen, he smiled but didn’t respond. What a joke. He’d only co because he’d specifically checked.
He had thought that he wouldn’t have a chance tonight, but unexpectedly, Owen was called away by the secretary.
Cole even specially asked around. It turned out that Chris’ boss wanted to talk to him about sothing. Their chat definitely wouldn’t end soon.
In fact, Cole had wanted to approach when Anita first left Brownie. He hadn’t expected Owen to show up. He even looked like he knew Anita. The two of them seed close since they talked for a long ti.
Brownie seed to have forgotten that he had a female companion. He seed drunk and he was probably already helped to the upstairs lounge.
"Anita, I heard that your ntor is in charge of this activity. It’s said that this activity will even affect his professional reviews?" Cole stopped talking after that.
"Cole, what do you want?" Hearing Cole ntion her ntor, Anita knew that he was up to no good.
"Nothing, I just wanted to have a drink with you. Don’t be so nervous." Cole knew that he was right when he saw how nervous Anita was.
"This one’s alcoholic content is very low. Don’t worry. No matter what, I have to thank you for your care these few days," Cole said as he raised his glass.
Anita felt disgusted by the hypocritical Cole, but she could not refuse him. She knew how much her ntor had sacrificed for this academic discussion.
"Fine, I’ll drink it. Keep your word." Anita picked up her glass and drained it.
"Miss Anita, you’re such a good drinker. Co, let’s have another drink." Cole picked up the glass again and handed it to Anita.
"Didn’t we agree on a glass?" Anita looked at the wine glass that was handed over again.
"It’s the last glass. I’ll leave after drinking," Cole said sincerely.
When Anita heard that it was the last glass, without suspicion, she picked it up and drank it.
"Miss Anita, you’re really good at drinking. Let’s call it a day. I have to trouble you to send ho. My secretary just left. I’m feeling dizzy." Cole tried to tilt his head towards Anita as he spoke.
Fortunately, Anita ducked. She had already drunk the wine and all she had to do now was solve this problem. Anita thought about it and said, "Then I’ll send you back to the hotel now."
"Let... let’s go." At this mont, Cole really looked like he had drunk too much and he couldn’t even speak clearly.
When she walked out of the banquet hall and felt the cold wind, she felt that sothing was off. She felt dizzy, so she shook her head to sober up.
Cole, who was beside her, watched as Anita’s cheeks slowly flushed and she shook her head. He knew that the alcohol had begun to take its effect.
"Ms. Anita, get in the car," Cole said while pretending to be weak.
The glass of wine that tasted like fruit wine actually had such a strong aftertaste. Anita, who was sitting in the car, felt even more uncomfortable, especially since Cole even opened the car window.
After she finally sent Cole to the hotel, Anita was about to leave. However, Cole pretended to be passed out drunk. She finally woke him up after much effort, but he couldn’t go upstairs to his room in this state.
Anita wanted to throw him directly into the lobby, but Cole acted like he knew what she was going to do. "Ms. Anita, you know the consequences if you throw into the hotel lobby."
Anita suppressed her anger and dragged Cole all the way to the door of the room. The door card clicked and the door opened. However, at this mont, Cole suddenly stopped acting drunk. He reached out and pulled Anita into the room.
"What are you doing? Let go of ?" Anita did not expect Cole to suddenly pull her back. She was so frightened that she scread for help.
