"Where’s my mother and father? I don’t see them. Are there guests?" Owen said as he handed the thing in his hand to the butler.

"Miss Joan ca over today. She and Madam should be upstairs," the butler said with a smile as he listened to Owen’s question.

"Joan is here. What a coincidence," Owen said, stunned by the butler’s words. He hadn’t expected Joan to be here today.

"Yes, Miss Joan said that she happened to pass by today, so she ca to see Sir and Madam. Sir went out fishing and hasn’t returned. I’ll go up and call Madam. She’ll be very happy to know that you’re back," the butler said with a smile as he looked at Owen.

"Yeah, go ahead." Owen nodded, then headed for the living room with Anita.

"Madam, Young Master Owen and Miss Anita are back," the butler said with a smile as he went upstairs and looked at Sylvia and Joan, who were chatting happily in the living room on the second floor.

"What did you say? Anita is back? Why didn’t these two tell beforehand?" Sylvia hurriedly stood up with a smile.

"Let’s go, Joan. Let’s go down quickly. You ca at the right ti today," Sylvia, who was holding Joan’s hand, said with a smile.

"I didn’t expect Owen to co back today. It’s indeed a coincidence," Joan said with a smile as she listened to Sylvia.

To be honest, she had co to see Sylvia today on the spur of the mont and hadn’t expected to run into Owen and Anita. She had just passed by and wanted to test the waters.

Was Owen and Anita getting a divorce? After all, a few days had passed since she sent Anita the photos. She was thinking that the two of them might be in a cold war or were already getting a divorce.

After all, those photos did look very misleading. They were also photos she had soone stalk them for so long before finally taking. She thought they would be useful, but she didn’t expect that after chatting with Sylvia for a long ti, she found out about how close Owen and Anita were.

She was feeling impatient when she heard what the butler said, so she followed Sylvia downstairs quickly.

"Owen, you’re here," Joan said with a smile while looking at Owen.

"Yes, I brought Anita back for dinner," Owen said with a glance at Joan.

"Anita, you’re here too. I’m so happy we et again." Joan looked at Anita with a smile.

"Yes, I’m very happy too. We et again." Anita didn’t expect Joan to be here today. Hearing her words, she was stunned for a mont before coming back to her senses. Joan was smiling, so she smiled as well.

"Anita, why are you back today? Why didn’t you tell beforehand?" Sylvia was only a step or two behind Joan. She had seen the way the three of them spoke just now. She stood there for a few minutes before going forward and smiling at Anita.

"Mom, I’m sorry. I just ca back from an exchange overseas a while ago, so I ca to see you." Hearing Sylvia’s words, Anita hurried forward and held her arm while smiling.

"Yes. I scolded Owen. He doesn’t have ti to co back himself, but doesn’t even let you co back often," Sylvia said with a smile while glancing at Anita.

"Mom, what are you saying? When did I not let Anita co back?" Owen said with a helpless smile.

"By the way, this is a pastry for you and Dad. Didn’t you say last ti that it was delicious? Anita specially asked to buy it," Owen said with a smile as he handed Sylvia the pastry the butler had just placed on the table.

Anita froze. He hadn’t told her about the pastry at all. She looked up at Owen and questioned him with a look, but Owen didn’t say anything and just smiled at her.

She understood imdiately. He had bought it, but he had given her the credit. His thoughtfulness and consideration touched Anita again.

"Anita, thank you for rembering what I like to eat." Sylvia saw their exchanges and smiled in relief. She looked at the pastries on the table and smiled at Anita.

"Mom, if you like it, we’ll bring it for you next ti," When she heard Sylvia, Anita ca back to her senses and said with a smile.

"Yes, sit here and rest for a while. Your father will be back soon. We’ll eat when he cos back later." Sylvia smiled and greeted them.

No one noticed that Joan was beside them. She looked at the few people standing beside her who were chatting and laughing, and she was completely ignored.

It seed like they were the family and she was an outsider, but this wasn’t supposed to happen. Owen clearly belonged to her. Why had he beco Anita’s man?
