Ethan smiled secretly when he heard Anita’s words and said nothing.
Anita didn’t look up to see Ethan’s expression. She was still wondering why a dish with such a nice na turned out to be a dark cuisine.
"Don’t say that. Let’s try it. It might be delicious," Ethan said reassuringly to the unhappy Anita.
"I don’t want to eat this dark cuisine." Anita was also shallow sotis. She really didn’t want to eat it. She didn’t want to touch the cutlery and said softly.
"Alright, then eat this Wellington beef first. I’ll help you taste this Stargazy pie." As Ethan spoke, he cut the Wellington beef and handed it to Anita before moving the Stargazy pie to him.
"Ethan, why are you so nice? You’re too nice." Anita looked up at Ethan and smiled.
"I know I’m very nice. Eat up," Ethan said with a smile as he looked at Anita.
After all this ti, Anita was really hungry, so she didn’t stand on ceremony with Ethan anymore. She picked up the cutlery and started eating.
Ethan saw that Anita was eating happily and looked at the spacers in front of him in a daze. How should he eat them? Where should he start?
After thinking about it, he finally shook the cutlery in his hand and reached out with the knife. He thought that this was probably similar to pizza, so he separated it into a few pieces.
After cutting it, he picked up his fork and stabbed a small piece before putting it in his mouth to take a bite. Before he could swallow it, he saw Anita staring at him. It felt like what he was about to eat was poison.
Ethan smiled and then ate the food on his fork in one gulp.
"Ethan, how’s the taste? Tell about it," Anita asked expectantly when she saw Ethan eat it.
Ethan didn’t answer Anita imdiately. He just savored the taste in his mouth again.
To be honest, the Stargazy pie seed unappetizing when he first saw it. However, after he ate it, the rich milky aroma combined with the taste of the grilled fish was indeed very unique.
"Tell , Ethan, how does it taste?" Anita asked anxiously when she saw that Ethan was silent.
"Yes, it tastes good. Do you want to try it?" Ethan deliberately kept Anita in suspense.
"It’s really not bad? Don’t lie to ," Anita said in disbelief as she looked at Ethan.
"Really, try it," Ethan said as he looked at Anita while pushing the Stargazy pie to her.
Anita looked at the dark cuisine in front of her and raised the cutlery. She was hesitant. After a long ti, she asked, "Ethan, are you sure it’s really delicious?"
"I’m really sure. You have to try it," Ethan said with a nod.
Seeing that Ethan was so certain, Anita stopped hesitating and picked up the fork in her hand. As soon as she placed it in her mouth, she understood Ethan’s words.
The taste was indeed very delicious. The exterior was charred, especially the layer of fish at. It was charred yet delicious, but there was probably cream and butter mixed inside, so the pie tasted very delicious.
After Anita finished this bite, she couldn’t help but fork another piece.
"How is it? It’s not bad, right?" Ethan asked with a smile when he saw Anita eat piece after piece.
"Yes, it’s indeed quite delicious. Its na and its taste match, but its appearance really makes one flinch," Anita said seriously after taking two bites and putting down the fork.
Ethan smiled and nodded in agreent. Then, he said, "Let’s eat quickly. There’s an exchange eting in the afternoon."
Anita nodded at Ethan. The other two didn’t say anything else and quietly finished the al. "You’re welco to co next ti," the waiter at the door said with a smile.
Anita looked at the waiter and smiled as well. "Thank you for your recomndation. Stargazy pie is delicious."
"Thank you," the waiter said with a smile.
Anita nodded and walked out of the dining room with Ethan, not noticing that soone had secretly taken pictures of them together.
The two of them finished eating at just the right ti. They could slowly and quietly walk to the eting room.
After the two of them arrived at the eting room, they sat down for a short while. Everyone nodded quietly. After everyone was present, the afternoon exchange officially began.
Owen hadn’t rested since his video call with Anita at noon. He was busy until after six, when Bruce ca and knocked.
"President, it’s almost ti for our appointnt with Miss Miranda," Bruce said to Owen as he pushed open the door.
Owen didn’t notice the ti until he heard Bruce. Then he looked up at the ti. It was indeed past 6.
