Before Big Beard could finish speaking, he let out a miserable shriek!
Suddenly, Big Beard felt the grip tightening around his neck, so tight that he struggled to breathe!
Ye Long grinned, looking at Big Beard and said, “If you answer obediently, that choking sensation will go away.
If you defy , then you’ll slowly be strangled to death!”

“Made up your mind?
If so, nod your head,” Ye Long said, looking at Big Beard.
Without any hesitation, Big Beard reached for his neck and nodded emphatically!
Seeing this, Ye Long cracked a smile and teasingly said to Leng Feifei, “Wifey, this kid’s been schooled!”
Leng Feifei glared at Ye Long, annoyed, and said, “What did you call ?”
“Wifey, of course!” Ye Long replied earnestly.
“Are you asking for death?” Leng Feifei snapped angrily.
“Eh…” Ye Long looked dejected.
Leng Feifei rolled her eyes at Ye Long, then turned to Big Beard and demanded, “Tell , who sent you to kill the boss of Dongsheng Real Estate Company?”
By now, Ye Long had Big Beard behaving obediently, so he answered without any delay, “I had no direct contact with Director Wang.
We were always connected through a mysterious person, but I don’t know who that person is!”
“A mysterious person?
What mysterious person?” Leng Feifei asked, puzzled.
“I’ve never t the mysterious person.
We always communicated over the phone.
Although I know that Director Wang is the mastermind behind this, there’s no evidence.
Even if I was caught, it wouldn’t implicate him.

Leng Feifei frowned, aware that things were not so simple.
But right now, she couldn’t bring Big Beard to the police station!

the number,” Leng Feifei demanded.
Big Beard nodded, then promptly provided Leng Feifei with the phone number of the mysterious person who was the link to Director Wang.
After saving the number, Leng Feifei considered that Big Beard was rely one of Director Wang’s pawns, not even a full player in the ga, utterly ignorant of the whole picture.
To get to the bottom of the matter, they had to find the mysterious person Big Beard ntioned.
“I’m sure you understand the lengths Director Wang will go to.
If he finds out you’ve told
this, he will not spare you.
If you don’t want to die, stay put here for the ti being, got it?” Leng Feifei instructed Big Beard sternly.
Big Beard nodded quickly, “Understood, understood!”
“Alright then, let’s go!” Leng Feifei summoned Ye Long with a call, and they both headed downstairs.
There was no use in arresting Big Beard now—he was just one of Director Wang’s tools.
Taking action against Big Beard would only alert Wang, and Leng Feifei’s real target was Director Wang.
Ye Long and Leng Feifei went downstairs, as the sky had already darkened to an inky hue.
“Alright, I’ll drive you back,” Leng Feifei said once they were in the car.
“Officer Beauty, now that everything’s been taken care of, shouldn’t we get a room to relax first?” Ye Long teasingly suggested from the passenger seat.
Leng Feifei glared at Ye Long and said, “You lecher, who wants to get a room with you?
Say another word, and I’ll crush you!”
“Alright then, how about treating your brother to a al instead?
I’ve been toiling away and am starving.
I’m so hungry I could die!” Ye Long complained, patting his stomach.
“What a hassle!”
Uttering this, Leng Feifei started the car and floored the accelerator, driving out of the neighborhood!
She raced through the streets, finally parking her car in front of a Western restaurant!
“Get out, let’s hurry up and eat, then leave!” Leng Feifei said, then opened the car door and got out.
Ye Long chuckled and followed her out of the car, then the two of them headed into the restaurant!
As they entered the Western restaurant, elegant and soothing music played inside, where most of the diners were couples!
Ye Long and Leng Feifei found a relatively quiet spot and settled down!
“Two steaks, two fruit juices!” Leng Feifei told the waiter.
“Okay, miss!” The waiter nodded and then withdrew.
Ye Long sat across from her, a cheeky smile fixed on Leng Feifei!
Leng Feifei coldly stared back at Ye Long and said, “What are you looking at?”
“Looking at you, what else?
Or should I face away from you?!” Ye Long replied seriously, as if his staring was the most natural thing in the world.
“You…” Leng Feifei was so frustrated, she realized she had to be ready to be watched by this slick character at all tis.
“Officer beauty, you’re really pretty, and we really do match well!” Ye Long admired Leng Feifei, still with a very serious deanor.
Such flirty words, and yet Ye Long could say them so seriously—it was truly bizarre!
Leng Feifei felt like her lungs would explode with anger from Ye Long — she’d seen flirty, but never soone who could be flirty so earnestly!
She really wanted soone to punch this guy to death!
Right then, the steaks arrived, and Leng Feifei rolled her eyes at Ye Long, then said, “Hurry up and eat, then let’s leave!”
“Officer beauty, does ‘eat and run’ an we’re in a rush to go to a hotel?” Ye Long asked sincerely.

Imdiately, a young man dressed in a black suit, who looked successful and businesslike, approached!
Upon hearing the call, Leng Feifei looked up and with a helpless expression, responded to the greeting!
After the young man approached, he smiled handsoly at Leng Feifei!
But Ye Long was a bit put off the mont he looked at this young man!
That look he gave to Leng Feifei was so fervent, obviously, he had designs on his future wife!
This young man was Song Minhao, the young master of the Ninghai Song Family, with a family business spread all over the country!
He was the steward of Song Corporation, a business prodigy, wealthy and handso, indeed a sought-after suitor for many young won!
“Fei Fei, what a coincidence, to run into you here!” Song Minhao greeted Leng Feifei with a smile.
