Chapter 1903: Chapter 1903: The Strongest Among the Children of Heaven

Qin Jun and Daji clasped hands as they entered the thunderclouds, undeterred by lightning, untouched by rules.

The further they went, the more anxious Daji beca, as she was about to see her son soon.

Soon, they passed through the clouds, greeted by views of the verdant mountains and clear waters across continents, with vast oceans sprinkled with countless islands.

The majestic landscapes were like the Immortal Realm.

“I can feel him.”

Daji tightened her grip on Qin Jun’s hand, spoke softly.

Qin Jun nodded, smilingly said, “That guy is here too, let’s visit him before eting the qi movent.”

Daji had no objections. With her cultivation, in this Ancient Desolation, she could observe the qi movent’s every action even from the ends of the earth.

The two flew towards a continent.

In a forest, a peak soared into the clouds, standing lonely and proud among the surrounding mountains.

Atop the mountain, a scorched tree stood, with a firebird resembling a crow, with three legs—clearly a three-legged Golden Crow.

It was asleep.

Not far away, an elegant man reclined on a rock, basking in the sun, thoroughly relaxed.

Upon closer inspection, it was Ren Woxiao.

He chewed on a stalk of grass, with legs crossed, lost in thoughts of amusent, humming constantly.

Tap! Tap!

Two footfalls resonated nearby, startling him upright.

Seeing the visitors clearly, he hurriedly knelt down, loudly proclaid, “Greetings, Father God!”

Qin Jun looked at Ren Woxiao, with deep aning, questioned, “Why are you here? What task did the original sent you for?”

Daji donned a half-smile, evidently guessing Ren Woxiao’s intentions.

Ren Woxiao awkwardly chuckled, “Isn’t this for accompanying my son… unless Father God disagrees?”

Qin Jun rolled his eyes, internally thought, “Even I have a son to accompany.”

At this mont, Ren Woxiao got up from the ground, beaming, inquired, “Father God, what brings you to this tiny place?”

Daji approached the little Golden Crow not far away, refraining from disturbing Qin Jun and Ren Woxiao’s conversation.

Qin Jun fixed his gaze on Ren Woxiao, said, “Do you know Grand Basis’s child is also to arrive in the Ancient Desolation?”

Hearing this, Ren Woxiao frowned; of course, he was aware of the matter.

He puzzled why Qin Jun showed such interest?

Qin Jun, above all, didn’t care about his children’s affairs, and now inquiries about Heavenly Monarch Grand Basis’s child—could that child’s origins be extraordinary?

In a flash, Ren Woxiao’s thoughts raced like lightning, contemplating nurous possibilities.

He quickly replied, “I don’t know, it should be the case, but the Heavenly Monarch sent the child to another place first, a place you spoke to us about before—Earth, his intentions unknown.”

Earth?

Qin Jun raised a corner of his mouth, was Heavenly Monarch Grand Basis intending for qi movent to be a traveler?

Interesting, it seed the stories he told the Primordial deities after the Primordial’s inception had quite the effect.

He couldn’t help recalling the previous original epoch—all vibrant mories swirling like dramas in his mind, stirring his sentints.

Once upon a ti, he was but an ordinary mortal.

All those tis had turned into mories.

“Father God, is there sothing peculiar about that child?”

Ren Woxiao asked, puzzled—perhaps Qin Jun ca specifically for the child?

Qin Jun chuckled softly, “Not really, but the child’s destiny is extraordinary; it may overturn Primordial Chaos in the future.”

At these words, Ren Woxiao furrowed his brow deeply.

Could Heavenly Monarch Grand Basis be plotting sothing?

Elsewhere.

Daji gazed at the sleeping little Golden Crow on the tree, a trace of sadness crossing her face, murmuring, “This is sorrowful, from birth, fate is decided, better to fulfill my child’s destiny.”

Finishing her words, she waved her right hand, a white light entered the little Golden Crow’s body.

At this ti, Qin Jun and Ren Woxiao ca over.

Ren Woxiao introduced, “This is Donghuang Taiyi’s son; their brothers, for qi movent’s theft, send a little Golden Crow over every once in a while, luring adventurers, who upon slaying the Golden Crow, allow them to seize its qi movent without karmic contamination.”

Daji frowned, said, “Even tigers don’t eat their cubs, those two connivers.”

Qin Jun restored her previous original epoch’s mories, knowing Donghuang Taiyi and Di Jun’s accomplishnts in their previous lives.

Precisely because of their contributions, Qin Jun allowed them an early reincarnation, entrusting them to Ren Woxiao’s tutelage—yet never expected Ren Woxiao to lead them here in the Ancient Desolation.

Qin Jun glanced at Ren Woxiao, cold sweat dripping from him.

He chuckled awkwardly, “Perhaps they strayed; I’ll properly guide them henceforth; after this, such acts won’t be allowed.”

Qin Jun turned to ask, “Where is Li Huahun?”

Ren Woxiao sighed in relief, replied helplessly, “Wandering outside.”

Qin Jun nodded, then left with Daji.

Ren Woxiao stood before the little Golden Crow, musing, suddenly intrigued by Heavenly Monarch Grand Basis’s child.

If the Heavenly Emperor descended personally, certainly remarkable.

“Will overturn Primordial Chaos?”

Ren Woxiao muttered to himself, after the phrase, shook his head, turned to leave.

Above the clouds, Qin Jun and Daji appeared like divine couple, overlooking the magnificent land.

Daji curiously asked, “Your Majesty, have you visited this Ancient Desolation before?”

She sensed traces of Qin Jun left in nurous places throughout the Ancient Desolation.

Qin Jun grinned mysteriously, “Just had my split body play so tricks here.”

However, Daji didn’t feel happy; instead, she slightly furrowed her brow, questioned, “Such an elaborate plan for him doesn’t fit your style.”

“I treat all equally, bestowing varied legacies to my other children; only qi movent needs so fortunes, otherwise, growth would lag, later unable to compete with others.” Qin Jun shook his head, replied.

Compete?

Daji’s delicate brows furrowed more, she pursued, “All are your kin, why the need for competition?”

Qin Jun restrained his expression, said, “I have my reasons for doing so; among these children, one must be the strongest, then take on crucial responsibilities; particulars I can’t divulge for now.”

Upon hearing, Daji started overthinking.

The two continued forward, aimless.

Walking for quite a while.

“Here we are.”

Qin Jun suddenly halted, said, gazing downward.

Daji followed suit, glancing down, her gaze piercing through layers of clouds, looking at the forest below.

Among the mountains sat a city, like a steel forest, distinct from Ancient Desolation’s cities, resembling a modern city on Earth.

At this mont, tens of thousands of mystical creatures roared before the city, sounds converging, shaking the forest.

“He has grown.”

Daji muttered, eyes reflecting gratification.

It wasn’t her first ti seeing qi movent grown, yet it always unsettled her heart.

“Giving qi movent to Grand Basis proved beneficial; this city, wrapped in misfortune; breaking the curse will tactically challenge qi movent.” Qin Jun whispered softly, yet his gaze flickered, thoughts unknown to others.
