Chapter 1634: Chapter 1634: Infinite Growth
“No cultivation realm, but its speed and strength clearly reach the level of Creation Void Sovereign.”
Qin Jun muttered to himself, intrigued by the bloody and indistinct beast.
Imdiately, he raised his hand and summoned the beast towards him from a distance.
The mysterious creature struggled desperately, but it was no match for Qin Jun and was soon pulled in front of him.
Previously, Qin Jun hadn’t noticed it, likely because it had been hiding on the divine ship the whole ti.
“Hiss, hiss, hiss—”
The beast bared its fangs at Qin Jun, lacking eyes, nose, or ears, with only a mouth full of sharp teeth and a long tongue resembling a snake. Its flesh was a bloody ss, utterly disgusting, exuding a nauseating stench.
Qin Jun frowned deeply—what on earth is this thing?
A failed creation of the Creator?
Qin Jun inwardly ridiculed the Primordial Emperor, then prepared to crush the beast to death.
“Wait!”
At that mont, a hurried voice ca from the distance. An elder in a Taoist robe flew over rapidly, his hair black and white, with a plump body and tiny eyes nearly covered by flesh. He urgently shouted, “Brother, stop!”
Upon hearing this, Qin Jun stopped and glanced sideways.
The beast struggled even more fiercely at the sight of the approaching Taoist elder, as if greatly fearing him.
“Brother, this creature is one of the Eight Great Evils of Primordial, the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast. Even if you crush it, its soul can reform, and its whereabouts will be difficult to trace. For the sake of Primordial, you must hand it over to so that I can suppress it.”
The Taoist elder spoke righteously, making Qin Jun raise an eyebrow.
Another of the Eight Great Evils.
This thing is indeed tougher than the Void demon.
“The Eight Great Evils are this weak?” Qin Jun chuckled, lightly squeezing with his right hand, causing the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast to emit a piercing scream once more.
The Taoist elder felt a pang of heartache and quickly added, “The growth potential of the Eight Great Evils is unlimited. The Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast could once devour a Creation Void Sovereign, but was later slain by the Undefeated Emperor and is now growing again.”
Unlimited growth potential?
Revive even after death?
Qin Jun raised an eyebrow at the overwhelmingly strong attributes.
These words made Qin Jun take the Eight Great Evils sowhat seriously, although he still found the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast too ugly, far less imposing than Sun Wukong’s Void demon.
“If you tell the origin of the Eight Great Evils, I will hand it over to you.” Qin Jun said.
The Taoist elder breathed a sigh of relief. Unable to see through Qin Jun’s cultivation, he dared not forcibly take the beast. Fortunately, Qin Jun did not make any excessive demands.
“The origin of the Eight Great Evils is mysterious. It is said they have existed since the birth of Primordial, ford from the greed and murderous intent of all beings.”
“Initially, the Eight Great Evils went unnoticed by all beings until they grew powerful and ravaged Primordial. The strongest was the Dark Hunger Beast under Emperor Zhoumo, which even Emperor Zhoumo could not control and had to destroy. Hundreds of billions of years later, the Dark Hunger Beast reappeared, making all beings realize the true might of the Eight Great Evils.”
“Most of the Great Evils have been suppressed by various forces, but this Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast recently escaped from my grasp. I am so ashad, but thankfully, brother, you caught it.”
The Taoist elder began recounting a secret tale of Primordial, causing Qin Jun to ponder.
The Eight Great Evils have such a profound origin.
It seems this creature truly is formidable, with limitless growth potential and impossible to kill.
In the future, he must properly foster the Void demon.
As for the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast…
Too ugly!
Qin Jun tossed the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast to the Taoist elder and said, “Take it!”
“Thank you, brother!”
The Taoist elder’s face bead with joy and excitent as he promptly stowed the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast into his sleeve, indicating that his cultivation was quite strong as well; otherwise, how could he subdue the Bloodthirsty Ghost Beast so effortlessly?
Qin Jun glanced at him and continued following the light bird onward.
“May I know your na, brother? I am Chen Daode!”
The Taoist elder quickly shouted, simultaneously introducing himself, feeling that Qin Jun was quite impressive and worth befriending.
“Heavenly Emperor.”
Qin Jun tossed out two words without turning his head and soon vanished beyond the stars.
Heavenly Emperor?
Chen Daode was briefly stunned, struggling to recall before realizing with a look of enlightennt.
“So it’s him.”
…
About three days passed, and the light bird finally brought Qin Jun to Extre Emperor.
At this mont, Extre Emperor sat ditating on a star, devoid of water sources, flowers, grass, or trees, only barren rocky terrain, desolate and silent.
Sensing Qin Jun’s approach, Extre Emperor opened his eyes, then stood up, a smile on his face.
Soon, the light bird flew into him and vanished into nothingness, while Qin Jun leaped from the Supre Nine-Dragon Throne, which turned into a beam of light and disappeared into his back.
“What? Are you afraid of facing Ling Emperor alone?”
Qin Jun asked with a smile, seeing that besides Extre Emperor, no one else was present. He had thought Extre Emperor had invited only him.
“Afraid? Since when have I ever been afraid?” Extre Emperor spread his hands and laughed.
“I just want you to witness defeating Ling Emperor, defeating the first Undefeated Emperor!”
Saying this, Extre Emperor’s eyes glead with determination, showing no discouragent from being beaten by Qin Jun.
Qin Jun smiled, saying nothing.
In his view, Ling Emperor shouldn’t be weaker than Extre Emperor. He knew Ling Emperor’s talent and knew that becoming the strongest under the Primordial deity was not an empty boast back then.
“There’s one more coming, likely arriving soon.”
Extre Emperor shifted the topic, waving his right hand, revealing a tavern—not luxurious, but rather simple.
Inside was a waiter bustling about, seemingly like a real person.
“Let’s drink while we wait.” Extre Emperor invited.
“I didn’t expect you to like drinking too. I thought you had no hobbies besides fighting.” Qin Jun teased.
Extre Emperor cleared his throat awkwardly, a hint of embarrassnt flashing across his face, and said, “Fine wine paired with battle becos more interesting.”
“Oh, you have such refined tastes,” Qin Jun smirked, making Extre Emperor want to find a hole to hide in.
The two took seats at a table inside the tavern, as the waiter swiftly brought two jugs of wine, smiling, “Please enjoy, gentlen.”
“Is this an artifact spirit?” Qin Jun asked, swirling his wine bowl.
“Yes, I created him and this tavern out of boredom.” Extre Emperor nodded, showing how idle he usually was.
The two started drinking and chatting, with Extre Emperor revealing his plans to Qin Jun.
After challenging Ling Emperor, he intended to fight Qing Emperor, Supre King Nanlan, and other famous Primordial powerhouses.
An hour or so later, another person arrived.
It was Su Emperor!
Su Emperor still wore white, with a clean face and a slight smile, looking very different from his previous cold deanor.
“Indeed, Heavenly Emperor, you’re here too.” Su Emperor entered the tavern with a smile.
“You’re here too, have a seat.”
Qin Jun smiled, feeling trendous sentint—the three of them were finally reunited.
This was probably their first ti sitting for a drink together. The last ti was at the beginning of Chaos, but back then, they separated after the battle and had no such opportunity for billions of years until today.
