Chapter 1564: Chapter 1564: Unparalleled Yang Er-lang

“Pitiful worm.”

Zhou nglang said softly, and as he spoke, he suddenly raised his foot, intending to crush the Map of Mountains and Rivers beneath him.

Bang—

Ren Woxiao shot forward like an arrow, kicking Zhou nglang flying. However, due to acting in haste, he failed to control his aura, which caused the Map of Mountains and Rivers below to shatter, splitting into two halves that rapidly shrank and flew into Nvwa’s body.

At that mont, a blood-red figure appeared in front of Qin Jun—a blood-robed elder, his face cruel and grotesque, resembling a bat. There was no need to guess; this was none other than Patriarch Xu Shi of the Blood Bat Clan.

Patriarch Xu Shi sneered as he reached out to grab Qin Jun. Everything happened too quickly, leaving even Xiling Empress, who possessed cultivation at the Primordial Great Detachnt Realm, unable to react in ti.

Facing such a perilous situation, Qin Jun remained calm, his expression stern and unwavering.

Between his brows, a purple fla transford into a black hole. From it, a three-pronged spear shot out first, piercing through Patriarch Xu Shi’s palm. Unimaginable pain caused Patriarch Xu Shi’s face to contort.

Imdiately after, Yang Jian erged from the black hole like a shooting star, returning to his full size. His silver armor glead brilliantly, his divine might imposing. Erlang Shen stood resolutely, his face as cold as iron, murder in his eyes burning bright like torches. His Supre Law Eye opened, unleashing golden light so dazzling that Patriarch Xu Shi instinctively shut his eyes.

“You…”

Ren Woxiao instinctively looked down but barely had ti to finish speaking before he caught sight of Yang Jian appearing from thin air, leaving him stunned.

Ren Woxiao had seen Yang Jian before; he was one of Qin Jun’s trusted aides.

But Yang Jian’s cultivation level…

Yang Jian gripped the Cosmic Three-Pronged Spear in one hand and gave it a powerful twist, shattering Patriarch Xu Shi’s arm into fragnts. Bone shards flew as he thrust the spear again, impaling Patriarch Xu Shi straight through the chest.

“Daring to harm my emperor! I will make sure you cannot live nor die!”

Yang Jian hoisted Patriarch Xu Shi on his spear and shouted with intimidating dominance.

Ying Zheng, Zhao Yun, Donghuang Taiyi, Kong Xuan, and others widened their eyes in astonishnt and joy.

Judging from the situation, Yang Jian had clearly been elevated by Qin Jun to a higher cultivation level and was now turning the tide of battle!

“That’s…”

Zhou nglang, who had been kicked flying earlier, now stared tightly at Yang Jian, his eyes filled with disbelief.

Li Qing, Hua Shenghai, and Jiao Tianming stood petrified, their mouths agape and unable to close.

“Who… who are you?”

Patriarch Xu Shi clutched the Cosmic Three-Pronged Spear with his left hand, gritting his teeth and growling angrily. At this mont, he looked even more monstrous, akin to a hellish wretch.

“I am the Erlang True Lord Yang Jian, under the Heavenly Emperor of the Great Qin Heavenly Court!”

Yang Jian stood proudly, his tone disdainful as he looked down on Patriarch Xu Shi.

The force of Yang Jian’s shout nearly shattered Patriarch Xu Shi’s soul, causing him to almost explode on the spot.

Yang Jian, being a master of the Combat Dao, coupled with his upgraded Supre Overlord Body and Supre Law Eye, had no problem battling enemies beyond his level. Patriarch Xu Shi, however, was rely an existence at the early stage of the Primordial Ancestor Realm.

Even so, the Primordial Ancestors were dominant figures within the Primordial Chaos.

Logically speaking, the Ancient Saint Emperor Dao should never encounter a Primordial Great Detachnt cultivator, let alone soone at the Primordial Ancestor Realm. Thus, Patriarch Xu Shi had never expected his mission to end in failure.

“You…”

Patriarch Xu Shi ground his teeth furiously, his body suddenly dissolving into countless blood bats scattering in all directions. The wings of these bats spanned hundreds of ters and looked unusually ferocious.

Yang Jian sneered coldly, “Trying to escape?”

His Supre Law Eye unleashed countless beams of golden light that relentlessly pursued and slaughtered the blood bats, moving faster than they could flee. One after another, the bats that Patriarch Xu Shi had transford into were destroyed.

The blood bats darted away, rapidly scattering across trillions of miles, vanishing into the depths of the universe. Yet they still could not escape the golden light’s relentless pursuit and were continuously exterminated.

Explosions erupted one after another, resembling cosmic fireworks—grand and magnificent.

As everyone snapped out of their awe, excitent swept through the crowd.

“Beautiful work, Yang Jian!”

“So strong!”

“This crisis is finally being resolved!”

“Is that old man dead?”

The gods and demons murmured amongst themselves, while Xiling Empress instinctively turned to Qin Jun with a smile, only to find that Qin Jun wasn’t smiling.

“Your Majesty, is sothing wrong?” Xiling Empress asked nervously, fearing that Qin Jun might be hurt.

“It’s nothing,” Qin Jun replied, though his fists were tightly clenched.

He was waiting to witness the consequences of releasing Yang Jian.

After summoning Yang Jian, the system had fallen utterly silent. No matter how much Qin Jun inquired, it wouldn’t respond. The thrill brought by Yang Jian felt like an ebbing tide.

“Where do you think you can run to?”

Yang Jian stood tall with his spear, his tone filled with confidence. As he spoke, he lifted his left hand and gestured at the void.

The space ahead visibly compressed, colliding and crushing countless blood bats back together.

The bats swiftly rged once more into the figure of Patriarch Xu Shi, whose right arm had miraculously healed, appearing as if he’d never been injured.

Patriarch Xu Shi’s eyes burned with venomous hatred as he snarled, “The Heavenly Emperor is destined to perish! If you dare stand in my way, then even in the vast Primordial Chaos, there will be no place for you!”

“No place for ?”

Yang Jian laughed arrogantly and exclaid, “Wherever the emperor is, that is my place!”

With that, he swiftly swung his spear, and in an instant, countless deadly Sword Qi surged at Patriarch Xu Shi from all directions. The space shattered into black rifts while lightning roared in response.

Qin Jun and the others stood safely behind Yang Jian, miraculously unaffected by the overwhelming pressure.

Patriarch Xu Shi, of course, wouldn’t be so easily defeated. Raising both arms, he unleashed a torrent of blood energy from his back, colliding aggressively with the myriad Sword Qi. The space exploded, wreaking havoc across the Chaos.

At the sa ti, Zhou nglang seized the opportunity to strike at Qin Jun once more.

But this ti, Ren Woxiao was prepared and swiftly blocked his attack.

“Get lost—” Ren Woxiao shouted as he thrust out a palm, sending an invisible wave crashing into Zhou nglang, who gasped in terror, realizing his magic power was being drained away.

“Do you think I’m afraid of you?” Zhou nglang roared furiously, tearing away his composed façade. Above his head, the space ruptured open into a massive fissure spanning tens of billions of miles. From within, a red claw erged—a giant, fur-less entity that resembled burnt flesh. Its re presence rendered the black void behind it minuscule in comparison, revealing its truly colossal scale.

The terrifying red claw hurtled toward Ren Woxiao. Beneath its dreadful shadow, Ren Woxiao and Qin Jun’s group appeared impossibly insignificant, smaller even than specks of dust.

Ren Woxiao remained calm, lifting his gaze as his eyes burst forth with radiant beams, like sunlight piercing through the darkness to impale the monstrous red claw.

“Aoo—” A pained howl echoed faintly, carrying a sense of agony. It was not deafening but seed to have originated from beyond the cosmos, its sound faint and distant.

Could this claw possess sentience?

The crowd grew tense with this realization. If the claw belonged to a living being, then just how enormous must that creature be?

“Ding! Due to the host releasing power beyond the system’s current limits, the system has entered chaos. Over the next period of ti, the system will stabilize, during which it will enter dormancy!”

The system’s notification suddenly echoed, causing Qin Jun to furrow his brows.

“How long will it sleep?” Qin Jun quickly asked in his mind.

“Several months… at most a year…”

The system’s voice grew fainter and fainter until it completely vanished from Qin Jun’s thoughts.

Qin Jun exhaled in relief; fortunately, the duration was not too long. Otherwise, how would he face the Golden Shake God Sect and the Blood Bat Clan?

Still… what consequences might arise from the system entering chaos?

Could it accidentally summon other gods and demons again?
