Feeling the wary glances from his surroundings, David Jones could only shake his head in helplessness.

David Jones remained silent. He trusted actions more than verbal promises, turning his gaze to Aqua next.
“I need to take a bit more of your blood for research today, bear with it.”
“Feel free to take it.” Aqua generously extended her arm.
David Jones imdiately started drawing blood in the cart.
In the past few days, he had taken blood samples from Aqua many tis. On one hand, he was researching the secrets of the Ghost God Bloodline to find the power of reincarnation hidden within. On the other hand, he was refining a special elixir.

“Act normal.” David Jones coughed lightly, walking towards the Brightstar Mill with Aqua.
Perhaps it was because of the strength Greenox displayed, or the fact that David Jones didn’t possess any horns on his head. Despite arriving on an ox cart with a Ghost girl whose horn was fractured, they appeared exceptionally distinctive. Yet, no one dared to look down on them or even glance their way, wanting to avoid any trouble.
The Ghost server at the entrance was hospitable, explaining the high-end jewelry and ghost implents within the shop while her fiery eyes flirted with David Jones, causing Aqua’s expression to beco even colder.
“No rush to introduce anything!”
David Jones interrupted the server’s speech, pointing to the exquisite jewelry in the showcase.
It was a butterfly-shaped black hairpin, embedded with shimring, high-quality pearls. The white pearls ford a butterfly that looked as if it were about to take flight.
“I’ll take that one,” David Jones said with interest, not even asking about the price.
Seeing this, the red-clad server hastily took down the gift box containing the hairpin and handed it directly to David Jones. Her beautiful eyes couldn’t help but glance at Aqua, murmuring to herself.
“What a lucky lass, even with that ugly fragnted horn on her head and black tattoos across her face she could still be a maid in waiting.”

David Jones nodded faintly, and then the server led him to a private room.
However, before he had even taken one sip of tea, he noticed his Flood Dragon wristwatch and Real Dragon wristlet started to stir.
“Yii!” (I have never received a gift!)
“Roar!” ( neither!)
David Jones knitted his brows slightly, soothing Rainbow, who started the ruckus with his thoughts.
“What do you an I’ve never given you a gift? Aren’t the pet resources that you normally consu things that I have to work hard to earn? Isn’t that a kind of gift?”
“Yii!” (It’s different!)
Rainbow stated righteously, hoping to receive more gifts.
“Alright, alright, I’ll have sothing prepared for you later,” David Jones ntally compromised.
