"Another dark dinsion... starting to really dislike all this darkness. I had hopes of becoming a cringe-edge lord soday, but these dinsions are making rethink that," he muttered flatly, his voice carrying a hint of resignation as he continued to scan his surroundings.
...…..
"...Hmm, what is that?" Azmond thought this place had nothing in it. He assud this place would be like the dark dinsion he had to break through when he mastered the Quantum Gate skill.
However, that was apparently not the case as he saw sothing in the corner of his peripheral vision.
"... Is that a chessboard?" He took a closer look with his enhanced vision. What he saw confird his unhinged theory.
"Yep, that's most definitely a chess board. An extrely high quality one at that. I can't even begin to understand the intricacies that went into creating sothing of such high craftsmanship."
The chess board truly was of a quality quite literally, 'Out of This World'...
He quit admiring the chess board for a second as a precarious thought entered his psyche."A chess board in the middle of a dinsion devoid of anything only spells trouble. People play chess... That must an there are other beings in this dinsion besides myself..." Azmond suddenly went on the defensive as he backed up a bit before a weary expression overtook his features.
He analyzed his surroundings even further. Looking for sothing that could resemble a form of life. Yet he found nothing, no matter how hard and long he searched.
A multitude of different theories were swirling around inside his head right now, but the one thought that seed to stick the most was... "They must be strong. Extrely strong." Azmond was no longer taking this as a joke, as he summoned up every ounce of strength he had in preparation for the being that could or could not be hostile.
The Qi centered inside of his Dantian ca flooding out in vast amounts as he was prepared to conjure up his strongest spell right from the get-go. |QUANTUM GATE|.
That was when he heard it.
A voice...
"It is pointless, mortal." A raspy voice echoed out. The Qi that had already materialized into Azmond's trump card right above his hand imdiately dispersed as soon as the voice made its way to him.
A skill that could destroy a small country in one strike was snuffed out like a candle in the wind. Just like that. There was no suspense and no silence before the storm.
The Quantum Rift Blade simply disappeared...
Azmond was extrely taken aback by this developnt as his right hand moved to summon the Quantum Rift Blade again.
He didn't know what manner of voodoo witchcraft was just used on him. But he felt like he didn't have the luxury of discussing that topic at the mont.
An unknown enemy was right on top of him. An enemy that was vastly stronger than him in every single way.
"Why are you struggling so much? You don't even know whether we are your enemies or not yet." The raspy voice once again echoed out followed by a deep aged sigh.
Azmond decided to respond to the mysterious voice this ti. "You are my enemy." He replied with an indifferent tone. The mysterious voice dispersed his attack without his knowledge. That made him an enemy in Azmond's eyes.
He also gained sothing else from this short interaction with the mysterious character. 'There is more than one of them.' He beca even more vigilant as he watched his backside as well.
He was expecting an enemy attack to co from any direction.
"...." The elusive voice was speechless at the logic behind this mortal's thoughts. He may not be able to read minds, but he could tell what was going on inside that stubborn head of his with one look.
"Regardless, your resistance would be futile even if we were enemies." The hoarse voice of the mysterious figure resounded out. The monuntal amount of Qi that was gathering above Azmond's hands in the form of Quantum Rift Blade... once again dispersed. Azmond was at a loss for words about what was happening right now. 'How much stronger is this bastard than myself?!? The difference in our strengths must be akin to that of the difference between a star and a fly. This is ridiculous..." He was flabbergasted at the vast difference in power between him and his 'enemy'. He was lost on what his next move should be. So he just did the only thing he knew how.
He kept trying.
|QUANTUM Rift Blade| was summoned once more. Qi sward out of him in vast quantities as the Quantum Rift Blade materialized above his right hand.
"..." Loki was astonished at the comical actions of this mortal.
"Are you stupid or sothing?" His ancient facade quickly broke as a stunned look erged on his face. He once more blew out the Qi Azmond was trying to utilize before showing himself.
His 6-foot-tall figure with long, silky blonde hair and bright green eyes appeared.
Loki's body materialized itself not even a few ters away from Azmond as he stared him directly in the eye. His nacing aura was unleashed in full, with every ounce of it focused on Azmond.
The mortal in question was left stupefied at the sudden appearance of a being that he couldn't understand...
That is correct. This being was so out of Azmond's power bracket that he couldn't even understand what he was looking at. All he saw before him was a pure gold aura in the form of a human being a little shorter than him.
It was like looking into an unfathomable paradox for Azmond. It seed like the figure before him was so sort of humanoid, but he wasn't able to ascertain that theory for sure.
It was hard to explain; the being before him was like a mirror with a countless number of sides. With every single one of those sides being sothing beyond his comprehension,.
Loki took one look at Azmond's dazed expression and recalled sothing. "Oh. I forgot that lower existences can't properly view the appearances of beings higher than them." He put on an awkward smile as he lightly swiped his hand. The incomprehensible silhouette of the being before Azmond swiftly disappeared as a man with long blonde hair took his spot.
